Chapter 11: Benio

Today is the day that Lobelia Girls' Academy will be visiting Ouran Academy for the annual talent show (I made it up, so just go with it). Tamaki and I stayed up all night putting together a powerful ballad. I believe it is strong enough to defeat the stuck up girls. Since the two of us didn't sleep at all, we end up walking to school together. Since I am pretty used to staying up late at night doing homework, lack of sleep hasn't affected me. On the other hand, Tamaki has been zoning out more than usual.

"Tamaki," I say.

He looks at me with a dazed expression, "Hm?"

"Are you going to be okay?" I ask.

"Of course I'm going to be okay. Why would you think I wouldn't be okay?" Tamaki smiles.

"Well, you didn't get any sleep last night." I scratch my head.

"Just focus on the lyrics and do your best. Don't worry about me."

When we arrive to Ouran Academy, a bunch of girls are lined up in the front of the school. All of them are screaming and shouting.

"Did Melanie Martinez walk into the building?" I ask myself.

"I'm sorry. Who?" Tamaki questions.

"Oh! It's nothing. Just so many people are here. My anxiety is kicking in." I answer while twiddling my thumbs.

Tamaki caresses my cheek and stares deep into my eyes.

"Listen, (y/n). No matter what happens, you are going to be the most amazing and talented girl in this whole world." Tamaki says with a serious look.

I blush and respond, "Thank you, Tamaki."

Tamaki kisses my cheek and says, "Now, knock 'em dead!"

After going through the crowd of girls, we go to music room 3 and see three girls that I've never seen before. The three girls were arguing with the host club.

"Haruhi should be with us!" A girl with caramel colored hair and bangs snorts.

"Yeah!" The other girl agrees.

A girl with short brown hair, who appears to be the main leader, smirks and says, "Girls, girls. Calm down. Haruhi doesn't want to be a student at Lobelia Girls' Academy."

I say, "But...Haruhi is a boy..."

The three girls look at me quickly. Everyone is quiet for a moment. Then, the three girls burst out in laughter.

"Is she serious?" The short one with bangs laughs.

"She obviously doesn't know anything." The blonde haired girl scorns.

"Hinako! Chizuru! That is no way to treat such a lovely lady." The president snaps at the two girls.

Haruhi laughs nervously and says, "Well, this is awkward. So, I'm just going to..."

Haruhi runs out of the room and into the hall.

The tension in the room is high.

"Benio...You didn't achieve your goal last year. So, why are you here again?" Kyoya fixes his glasses.

Benio smirks and says, "For the talent show, of course. You Ouran boys brainwash these beautiful girls! You seduce them and they succumb to you. We should be in charge. Men are weak and filthy."
