I.O.U a fall

Chapter 10

John and the doctor were in the TARDIS traveling back in time so John could jump off the building and die instead of Sherlock. as normal the TARDIS was making everyone who was in it be amazed John was walking around with his eyes popping out of his head, however the doctor kept watching him closely, the doctor who has seen death and destruction of whole planets was taken back at how dedicated John was to Sherlock and that John was willing to end his own life so Sherlock could live his.

John finally came and sat next to the doctor after looking around the TARDIS, he didn't notice that the doctor was watching his every move and it seemed at he wasn't worried at all that in a few minuets he would have to end his life.  

John "soooooooo your an alien right?" John asked casually as the doctor smiled a little.

the doctor "yes John, I am the doctor I am from the planet gallifrey and I am a time lord" the doctor was surprised at how calm John was to find out he was an alien, most people would run for hills or think the doctor was crazy, but not John he remained perfectly calm.

John " cool, I'm from England, earth " both of them smiled for a while and then John asked the question the doctor was avoiding.

John " so to save Sherlock I have to jump of the building right?" the doctor nodded "will Sherlock see me?" again the doctor nodded " but I will still be down there watching my self jump" the doctor looked away and shook his head.

the doctor " once you jump the John Watson down there will disappear it will just be you falling to the ground and ...sherlo....Sherlock watching" the doctor was speaking so quietly he never thought he would have to do this again but it was for John and John deserves it, he has been through so much.

John " and where will you be?" John asked he was still every calm but you could see in is eyes that he was about to cry and was so worried, he was a true man, John.

the doctor " I will be watching form the end of the roof top and hopefully Sherlock wont see me" John nodded and the TARDIS fell quiet once again.

John " you know I'm not afraid of dying if I get to see Sherlock again even for a minute, I would die a happy man "  the doctor didn't answer but you could see his reflection in a piece of the TARDIS a tear was rolling down the doctors face while John sat there looking up at the TADIS ceiling.    

the TARDIS stopped making the noise like a cat singing and the thing in the middle stopped moving which told John it was time. the doctor and him walked to the TARDIS doors and before John walked out the doctor stopped him

the doctor " are ready John? " John nodded " good John before you go I just want to say this you are the most loyal, most human man I have ever met and I wish more people were like you" the doctor finished and hugged John and opened the TARDIS doors.

John stepped out of the TARDIS on to the roof top there was Sherlock on the edge his back facing John, Sherlock had one hand out reaching to the John Watson on the ground and one hand of his phone. John saw Jim Moriarty's dead body on the ground and then it all became clear to John, everything, why Sherlock jumped and why John couldn't stop him finally John under stood everything.

John moved closer to Sherlock just so he could hear what Sherlock was saying to him on the ground, he made sure Sherlock didn't see him but slowly he walked closer to Sherlock.

John on the ground " am I ever going to see you again"

Sherlock " you can't".

John on the ground " what are you going to do?"

Sherlock " I have a plan John, there is something I must do"

John on the ground " on your own?"

at this point John on the roof top had tears streaming form his eyes but didn't move he had to wait until Sherlock was about to Jump. John could see Sherlock nod and tears falling from his eyes on the ground.

John on the ground "I, I-I love you."

John on the roof top remember how hard that was to say and it made him want to run and hug Sherlock but he couldn't he had to wait for the right moment to jump. John turned and looked behind him to see the doctor wiping his eyes, John nodded he knew there was only one sentence left the he would have to jump but first push Sherlock out of the way. 2

Sherlock " quiet right, too. and I suppose, if it's one last chance to say it, John Watson......"

the John on the roof top pushed Sherlock back just when Sherlock dropped the phone and flung him self off the building, as John fell he saw the John on the ground disappear. I have done it Sherlock I have doe it all for you John thought to himself just before he hit the ground.
