I.O.U a fall

Chapter 24

Sherlock had stepped into the TARDIS and was bewildered it was bigger on the inside he though to him self as he slowly moved into the centre. The doctor stood behind him watching him, not saying a word just watching him carefully. The doctor knew it would only be time before the pills Sherlock had taken a few hours before would kick in and then they were in trouble. However to Sherlock it seemed like a miracle that he was standing in the middle of the TARDIS, alive and he had forgotten about his attempted suicide earlier.  

Sherlock turned to face the doctor, who suddenly looked at the floor, trying not to make eye contact it was like he was hiding something from Sherlock but he didn't even know him self. Sherlock moved towards the doctor, he to was not making eye contact, probably because tears started to form in his eyes. No one had spoken a word since they were in the apartment but no body had to, they both knew how this was going to end and neither of them could say it to each other. The doctor moved towards the control centre of the TARDIS and pressed a few buttons and with the same old jolt Sherlock and the doctor were off, flying through time and space.

Sherlock just looked at the doctor in amazement he couldn't believe that a man could change there whole appearance but if someone could it would have been the doctor and he did, he changed everything about himself. except his eyes Sherlock could tell they were heavy with the past and that the doctor too had lost someone he had loved but also many more, more than Sherlock could ever imagine. Sherlock cleared his throat and spoke,

Sherlock " doctor thank you for doing this" the doctor said nothing and continued to look at the controls for the TARDIS but when Sherlock looked down the doctor looked up at him, his eyes were watery but not because he was sad for Sherlock but for what Sherlock is about to see. Sherlock had no clue how much this was going to hurt him and the doctor hated himself for doing this but it had to be done, Sherlock would of killed him self if he didn't and no more people should die not after what the doctor has seen and what he has done in the past. It was time for a change and the doctor was the only man who can change the whole of history.

the doctor " Sherlock I am sorry. I'm so sorry but you have to see this, you have to see what John did for you" Sherlock looked up at the doctor. A million things ran through Sherlock's mind what did John do for me? is this why the man I loved is dead? will I be able to see him again? does he know I love him? Sherlock couldn't take it anymore he lost it. He lost control of himself and fell to the floor he stated to cry his eyes out and the doctor looked at the monitor. The doctor had Sherlock's heart rate up and he could see that Sherlock was starting to crash soon it will all be over for him the doctor just hoped he had a little more time......
