Becca's POV

I wake up slowly and grab for my phone on my table. I click it on and it says that it's already 7:20. Shoot I was suppose to be ready by now.

I get up and quickly get changed and head downstairs. I am greeted by my mom with a plate of pancakes. I smile at her and grab the plate. I set it down at the table and go to the fridge and pull out a bottle of maple syrup.

I pour the syrup on and start to eat. In 20 minutes I'm finished and I quickly wash my plate and sprint upstairs and pull my phone off the charger.

I run downstairs and put all my books into my bag. My school is pretty amazing no one ever gets homework unless it was because you didn't pay attention in class but I usually pay attention so I barley ever have homework.

"Bye Mom!" I yell as I rush out the door so I can get to school on time.

If your wondering where my dad is he is always on business trips and is never home but I don't care because he is living his life how he wants to.

I pull my phone out and listen to music as I walk to school.

I think I hear footsteps behind me so I turn around but see nothing. I shake the feeling off and continue walking. After another 5 minutes I make it to school.

I put my stuff into my locker and grab my books for math. I walk over to my best friend Ky's locker and wait for her to grab her books and notice me.

"Hey!" She says once she sees me.

"Hey, ready for math?" I ask.

"Yeah" she reply's as we walk to class.

We make it to class a few minutes early and surprisingly there is still 3 seated table open.

We sit down and I sit in the middle hoping Keirst(another close friend who has math with me and Ky) would be here today and sit with us.

I turn to my book and open up to the page were doing today Ky follows my actions. I hear someone sit down beside me and knowing it's probably Keirst.

"Hey Keirst" I say while looking up.

When I look up I don't see Keirst but Shawn. He is the schools bad boy even though he is still a freshman because he failed 2 years he is 16 when all the other freshman's are between 14 and 15.

He's as tall as most of the seniors and all his best friends are the 'jerk squad' as Ky and I like to call them.

"You're not Keirst." I state and realize it was a stupid statement as soon as I say it.

"No duh" he rudely reply's.

"Why are you sitting beside me? Shouldn't you be with your jerk squad?" I ask and realize it's probably not good to mess with him but I don't really care.

"I'm sitting here because I can and if you ever call my friends that again you will regret it." He threatens.

I give up and just sigh and get back to finding the page. Once I find it the bell rings and I start doing the questions because that's all we had to do for the first half of class.

I finish the questions within 20 minutes so I have 20 minutes of free time until the second half of class.

I pull out a book and start reading, soon the 20 minutes is up and the teacher tells us that we have to work with your desk partners on a math question.

Each group gets a big piece of paper to write down idea's. I quickly finish the question with Ky's help.

I didn't even bother asking Shawn to help with anything and he didn't ask to do anything so he didn't help at all. We hand in the paper and the bell rings soon after.

I will be updating daily for the first 10 chapters then every Tuesday from chapter 11 and up. And please please please comment songs that you think suit each chapter because I know some of you love having something to listen to while you read and I need help to choose songs.
