Becca's POV

I pack all of my stuff and run downstairs, I really want to be free but I can't let my best friend put herself at risk to try to save me especially if she's on her own. I managed to fit everything into one suitcase, I walk over towards the door and set the suitcase beside it. I feel hands wrap around my waist and I look up to see Shawn. I turn around and hug him, I still have to act really affectionate until I get my tattoo.

"So you're gonna go and spend the night at Taylor's and he's gonna drive you back here in the morning, okay?" I nod my head.

"You're gonna let Kat go right?" I ask, because if I find out that he takes Kat too I'm gonna kill him.

"Of coarse babe, mainly because you would hate me but I'll let her search the house and when she finds nothing she will probably just leave, if she doesn't I'll call her an Uber and make her leave" He reply's. I smile and give him a small kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you" I whisper. I see that Ethan and Taylor are ready and I pull away from the hug.
Taylor opens the door and we walk out, Ethan takes my bag from my hand, and doesn't let me carry it.

He puts it into the trunk of their car and gets in the passenger side, I hop in the back and Taylor drives, I stare out the window the whole time and stay silent.

"So why didn't you put up a fight and stall?" Taylor asks.

"I can't have my best friend risk making her life as bad as mine just to save me" I reply.

"You sound exactly like Ethan, you two both care about other people too much to make your life better." Taylor states. I bite my tongue to keep myself from yelling at him.

"Yeah" I simply respond.

The rest of the car ride was silent, we pull up to a regular sized house in a very small area, there are a few houses nearby but not close enough to even have to worry about them, that's probably why Taylor had Ethan here because it's in a place where it looks normal but far enough away so that Ethan couldn't quickly get to a neighbors house.

I step out of the car and Taylor practically latches onto me and drags me inside, Ethan follows behind us carrying my bag. Once all three of us are inside Taylor locks the door, he looks down as me and grabs my arm again and takes me up a set of stairs, Ethan following behind us looking a bit scared.

"Now since we don't have a guest bedroom you can either sleep in my room or in Ethan's"
I don't hesitate to say Ethan, I don't trust Taylor and I really don't like him.

He just nods and continues to drag me down a short hallway, he opens the door to what I'm assuming is Ethan's room and shoves me in there and Ethan comes into his room with me before Taylor slams the door shut and locks it from the outside.  I look at Ethan and he gestures for me to come sit on his bed with him.

"Is Taylor always like this?" I ask Ethan.

"Yeah, I've tried to talk to him before about his anger, sometimes he listens and we actually have a good conversation but he always turns back to his normal self eventually and treats me like nothing and yells at me telling me everything I've messed up on and reminding me of my family. It honestly sucks but there's nothing I can ever do about it."

"I hate how this world is, the criminals get everything they want and the good people turn into victims of the criminals" I angrily sigh.

"Enough of the upsetting talk, what do you wanna do?" Ethan asks.

"What is there to do?"

"Well we could play Xbox, watch Netflix, I have a guitar, we coul-" I cut him off before he can continue his list.
