(I wanted to make this really cute since a lot of the Blind!Dirk mini comics I see are either comical or sad.)
"Hey, Bari?" Dirk asked after ten minutes of relaxed silence. We had eaten lunch and sat in his apartment in silence. Dave was out with John as usual, Dirk's starting to think that those two are together despite Dave's constant denial. I looked over at him, seeing that his glasses were almost off his face.
"What's up Dirk? Something wrong?" I questioned, pushing up his triangular shades up his nose. I was a bit worried since he seemed on edge.
"It's a stupid question, nevermind." He turned away, pink tinting his cheeks and ears. I reached out and grabbed his hand reassuringly.
"I'm sure it's not as stupid as you think, Dirk." He sighed and turned his body to face me.
"How long have you been my caretaker, Bari?" I blinked a few times, trying to remember when exactly I started.
"I started coming along with Jake after you in his care for a year then you and Jake fought and.. Then I took full responsibility, so it's been about four years. Why do you ask?" He was slightly slumped over after I mentioned their fight.
"I realized that I never got to 'see' what you look like, Jake never spoke about your appearance or anything. To think it's been four years since I've met you and I have an idea of what you might look like but if you described yourself to me. I might get a better picture." He remarked, gesturing ironically and sarcastically making me chuckle. He lifted his hands in front of him, I could that he was shaking slightly.
"Nervous? I'm not that interesting appearance wise. I mean, [h/l], [h/c], and [e/c]. Not very interesting, Dirk." I laughed lightly, guiding his hands to my face. We were still for a moment when Dirk started moving his fingers, brushing along my cheeks and across my lips.

I didn't know what to think, Bari's skin was soft and smooth, their cheeks __(squishy, defined, etc.), we were still for a bit until Bari placed their hands over mine.
"Dirk, is everything alright? You been kinda quiet." I froze up not knowing how to respond. I hope Dave doesn't walk in right now...
"You not sick, but your all red... Are you blushing!?" I could feel Bari's breath on my face even more blood rushed to my head.
"What? No I'm-oh shit!" I made to mistake of standing up quickly, got lightheaded, and crashed onto the coffee table. Thankful it was solid wood and not glass. It still hurt, Bari gasped and pulled me back onto the couch.
"Dirk, what was that about? I warned you that you shouldn't move so quickly, dammit!" They scolded, running their fingers though my hair, checking for blood. I went to push my glasses up but poked myself in the eye instead.
"Ow! Where are my glasses?" I started feeling for them in the coffee table. Bari cleared their throat and grabbed my face.
"They bounce off the table onto my lap. You need to be more careful, Strider." Bari pushed my glasses up before wrapping their arms around my mid-section.
"I worry about you, ironic asswipe." I chuckled and hugged Bari tight.
"Love you too."
(This was harder than I thought... That's what she said... I'll let myself out.)
