Genos x Cold! Reader[Natsu](OPM) - Winter Chill

(Before you ask what the hell I mean by cold, just read. And I haven't seen the OPM OVAs so just bare with me. Natsu is Japanese for summer, ironic.)

"Are you sure you're okay, Natsu-San? You've been drinking hot coffee all day." I smiled and waved off my co-workers question. I had always been unnaturally cold not emotionally, but body temperature wise. Currently I'm buried under a thermal long sleeve shirt,  two heavy knit sweaters, and a winter coat. Even with all that on, I was still cold! I can never eat cold food or 'summer' snacks because I would probably freeze from the inside out.

"I'm fine, just a bit chilly! Don't worry about it." They gave me a sympathetic look since it was the middle of the winter and by far the coldest day in City Z. I was used to the looks I got from wearing 3 to 5 layers of thick clothing, and saying that I was cold all the time. I sighed and checked the clock on the wall, only a few more minutes then I can go home.

"Wah! It's cold! I thought I left the heat on when I left!" I complained, probably annoying my two neighbors: Saitama and his student Genos. Saitama had been my neighbor since he got evicted from his old place, Genos showing up later after the bug incident from a few months ago. Genos was nice, blunt and too innocent for his own good sometimes, but nice.

The two would often come over during the winter and stay because I use my heating system year around and Saitama is a penny pincher when it comes to paying rent. Genos really just comes over because Saitama does and he seems to enjoy my company. Well I enjoy his, so it must just be me.

"I wonder if the boys would come over and have Korean food with me tonight?" I asked myself, somewhat hoping them would. Saitama kind of hates it when you sit close to him, but Genos doesn't so I tend to sit shoulder to shoulder with him. Even though Genos is a cyborg and mostly metal, he tends to whir like a heating laptop and be very warm. The funny thing is that, even with his analyzing abilities, Genos seems oblivious to my unnatural lack of body heat.

"Thank you for the meal! Seriously, Natsu. Thanks for making dinner tonight. I forgot to get groceries and Genos couldn't because he was stuck at HQ all day." Saitama explained, a small amount of excitement on his face as he stare at the amount of food in front of him. I smiled as we all began to dish out food, eating said food, and sitting in a semi-comfortable silence. Genos didn't eat much and was almost unusually quiet. I gave him a concerned look, but was ignored as his attention was on his sensei. It was quiet for a while until Genos decided to break it.

"Sensei, if it's alright with you and Natsu, I would like to stay here for tonight to keep Natsu from freezing." We both stopped and looked between each other and Genos. Saitama shrugged, and I had to ask.

"When did you find out about my-"

"When I first met you." Genos answered curtly, an unrecognizable look in his eyes. I sighed and agreed with Saitama, Genos noticeably relaxing. I wonder why?

"Try not to freeze overnight, okay? Goodnight Natsu, Genos." With it was just me and Genos. I had gone and changed into my warmest pajamas, but I was still freezing! We sat under a futon and I was shaking like a leaf. Genos sighed, scooted over to me, wrapped a arm around me, and pulled me into his lap. I squeaked and tried to escape until he started whirring, warmth radiated from him and for once, I was wasn't cold. I immediately sunk into his chest and curled up in his lap.

"Thank you Genos-kun." I muttered, sleep washing over me suddenly. He said something back, but I didn't catch it. I was already passed out, a smile on my face because of the warmth.

"You're welcome, Natsu. I-I..." The cyborg stopped, noticing his friend had fallen asleep. He smiled, resting his head on theirs, his lips just brushing their forehead.

"If only you knew, Natsu. If only you knew."

Extra:

Genos woke up due to another being laying against his back. He looked and saw his teacher snoozing away on his shoulder. Genos smiled again, the two people he cares about the most are right beside him.
