Chapter 1.3

"Katherine! Help me with the the vacuum please." Jessie shouted from the living room.

"Coming!" Katherine is at the kitchen preparing for dinner.

"Do you know what time Sa5m will be coming home?" Jessie asked to her while trying hard to remove the bag of the vacuum.

"Maybe after 6?" Katherine groaned as she helped her mother remove the bag. "Urgh! It's stock!"

"What's going on?" Nate asked as he approached the living room who just arrived from work. He is working at his father's car repair shop. It is the best car shop in their town. And Dave grown proud of it. He thought of giving it to Nate someday and he'll run the business.

"Come on Nate, help us with this." Jessie asked her son to help them with the vacuum.

"What happened?" Nate asked as he went over to grab the vacuum.

"The bag was stocked and now we can't get it out." Katherine said and left her brother and her mother at the living room. She went to finish and make their dinner.

"Urgh!" Nate also groaned in hardship. "Who did this?"

"Never mind. Let's just wait for your father. Go upstairs and change." Jessie said and went to get the brush of the carpet.

After few minutes, Sa5m reached home. "I'm home!" She announced the moment she entered their house.

"Good evening sweetie." Jessie greeted her. "How's practice?"

"It was great! My new routine is working and I'm sure they'll gonna love it and we'll do it perfectly." Sa5m answered her mom, kissed her in her cheeks and sat down their couch to remove her shoes.

"Dinner's ready!" Katerine announced and put the pot of crab soup at the table. "Oh, hey sis."

"Hey . . is that your famous crab soup?" Sa5m asked and suddenly felt her stomach rumbling.

"Yep. Feeling hungry now?" Katherine teased her. And the three of them laughed.

"I'm home!" Dave shouted from the door and proceeded immediately at the living room.

"How's work, honey?" Jessie asked her husband, approached him to give him a kiss and removed his coat to hang it.

"It was tough." Dave answered as he sitted next to Sa5m.

"Katherine, will you kindly please get your brother up stairs so we can start dinner."

"Sure." Jessie and Dave knew the situation of Nate and Sa5m, so when it comes to their son, they will never involve Sa5m. Except if she insisted to, and if they doesn't have any choice but to get her involve.

They ate dinner as a family and shared stories that happened to them today. After dinner, Sa5m went upstairs to take a shower, Katherine already started her homeworks, Nate sat infront of the tv to watch, Jessie washed the dishes and Dave tried to remove the vacuum bag.But after how many tries, he still can't.

"What happened to this?" Dave asked his son who is currently watching a soccer game in tv.

"Ask the girls. They already needed my help to remove that when I got home." Nate answered his father.

"Okay. I'll bring this tomorrow at the shop. Don't stay up too late son, we still need to go to the shop as early after breakfast.

"Dad, can I take a day-off tomorrow?"

"Why?"

"Remember Kylie?" Nate said sounding a little bit nervous. "Well, she visited the shop this morning, I tried to ask her out and she said yes."

"Kylie, the girl back in your sophomore years?"

"Yep."

"Okay. Ahm, by the way, we'll be having new neighbors." The house next to theirs was vacant for ten years. No one would want to live in it due the horror stories it brought to the town because of the family who was kept in that house and after a week was found dead in the atique.

"Who?"

"I still don't know."
