Chapter 1.4

Sa5m moaned early in the morning. This time she was not awaken by her alarm clock but with the noise from their neighbor.

She looked out from her window, and saw a large travel car. She washed her face, brushed her teeth and comb her hair then she went down the stairs hurrily.

"What's happening next door?" Sa5m asked to her mother who is already sitting at the dining table.

"The Andersons, our new neighbors." Her mother answered and she passed the coffee to their father.

"Morning." Katherine greeted everyone sleepily. "What's with the noise outside? I had trouble sleeping."

"Like I said, its the Andersons and they are our new neighbors." Their mother repeated. "Now if you don't want to be late for school, come and have some breakfast." She offered.

"Girls, we'll be having dinner with them tomorrow night. So if you have any plans for tomorrow night, cancel it." Their dad informed them.

"Okay. Ahm, where's Nate?" Sa5m asked while yawning from across the table.

"He's out for a jogging. Pass the butter, Katherine." Jessie answered Sa5m.

"Someone didn't got a good night sleep last night." Mike said while they are walking inside of the campus.

"Up all night making new routines again?" Katelyn asked.

"It's not like that. A family moved in to the next house from us, and the noise was just too loud as they moved in and it caused me to wake up so early." Sa5m explained while arranging her cheer leading uniform. Starting today, the squad will use their uniforms every M-W-F.

"Really?" Mike asked curiously. "Do you who?"

"My dad says that their family name are Anderson. But I bet we'll meet them tomorrow. My parents arranged a dinner tomorrow night at our house, and I have to do the cleaning again tonight." Sa5m whined.

"Why do they have to have dinner with your family? What if they are some sort of vampire, or dead ones." Katelyn begun again with her weird ideas.

"Oooooh, I'm scared." Mike responded.

"It's true. These creatures are true!" Katelyn defended.

"Okay." Sa5m stopped both of them. "Enough with that now, Mike. Don't worry Katie, we will be safe. And besides, it's a council's responsibility to welcome new members of our town."

"Wait. Did you said new? You mean they are not from this town too?" Mike asked Sa5m starting to be interested again.

"I don't know. But maybe, or maybe they just moved from a house."

"Who are they again?" Mike asked.

"Andersons. Look, i need not to talk all day about this, right? Let's talk about something else, can we?" Sa5m suggested changing the subject.

The phone is ringing.

"Hi, this is the Montgomery residence. How can I help you?" Jessie asked while removing her gloves. She loves gardening and its the only hobby she can't live with except working for the council.

"Mom, cut the crap out. It's Sa5m." Sa5m said from the other line.

"Oh honey. Why did you called?"

"I just want to tell that I'll be late for dinner tonight."

"And may I ask why, young lady?" Jessie said but not really curious because Sa5m and her friends are always having a night-out.

"A night out. Since we I can't go out with them tomorrow."

"But I said you'll help me clean the house."

"You can do it mom. Just usr the vacuum."

"It's broken sweetie."

"No it isn't. I just used it earlier at my room. Well I noticed that the bag is somehow stock but I managed to bring it back to order again."

"Really?" Jessie sounded a little bit shocked.

"And why do you sound surprised? It was not that hard."

"Well, you see, last night me and Katelyn can't fix that thing. And so did your brother and dad." She explained.

"Okay . . . ?" Sa5m is beginning to get stubborn.

"Ahm, what we're you saying again sweetie?" Jessie changed the subject.

"A night-out mom."

Sa5m with Katelyn went to Arcata Grill to meet up with Mike who is currently with his friend, Alex. The Arcata Grill is the most visited stop of the people around the place. And it also became the official hang-out place of them.
