"Ah, the Montgomerys." Their town mayor, Mrs. Elizabeth Lopez warmly greeted them. "It's all good to see you complete. And, who is this beautiful man standing next to our darling Sa5m?" She asked.

"He is the son of Mr. Anderson, our neighbor? The ones who just got in town last week?" Dave answered.

"Good evening ma'am. I'm Mark Lyndon Anderson." Lyndon spoke up.

"Pretty thing." And Elizabeth smiled down at him. "Our pleasure. Now, please, do come in and enjoy the rest of the party."

---

"So, how are you doing?" Sa5m asked Lyndon as soon as she approached him.

She leaved him at the ballroom and went to have a chat with her friends, Mike and Katelyn.

"I'm . . . preoccupied. Thank you for asking." Lyndon said.

"Good to know."

"Well, you seemed to be enjoying what you have been doing so, carry on."

"Sorry?"

"Aren't you?"

"Well of course I had. I have been talking with my friends."

"I see. Now, if you'll excuse me." Then he turned his back from her to go to another place.

"Hey!" Sa5m shouted at him and grabbed his hand. "Are you mad?"

"Am I being too obvious?" He faced her and said.

"Okay. I'm sorry for ditching you for more than an hour. But please, don't do the same." She begged.

"I'm afraid I can't seem to promise that."

Sa5m scoffed. "Fine. I'll find company myself." Then began to walk away but suddenly stopped.

She placed her right hand at her chest and the other at the table. She groaned to the pain she suddenly felt in her chest.

"Are you all right?" Lyndon asked, dropped his glass of wine to the table and came to assist her.

"I can't breath." She said in pain.

"Come 'on. Let me take you outside. You need to breath fresh air." And he patiently helped her way out of the house and find a nearest bench to rest.

"Here you go, please seat." He then helped her take a seat and sat down next to her. "Are you feeling better?"

"Not really." She hardly can speak and groaned softly to the pain. She clutched her chest like it can help.

"Here, smell this." And he presented to her a light-blue, long in shape plant.

"What is this?"

"Just smell it."

Sa5m let Lyndon put it near her nose and she slowly sniffed it. At first, she can't really smell anything. But shes not that stubborn so she tried again.

It was like a mixture of sweet scent and the most fresh air she had ever smelled. Few more minutes, she felt all better.

She lay her back to the bench. "What is that?"

"A flower. My favorite one." He said. "Actually, my entire family's favorite one."

"It looks familiar."

"That's because it can be found almost everywhere in this world."

She chuckled. "You really have a humour on the way you speak. Is that normal?"

"Yes. I pressume."

"You sounded like my great great grandfather back in the days."

"Sorry for that."

"No apologies neccessary." She said.

"By all means, are you all right?"

"Yes. I'm all better. Thanks."

"Here." He gave the flowers to her. "If ever you feel that tight feeling again at your chest, just sniff some of those."

"Isn't it going to die?"

"Of course it does. All living things has their time on earth. It's by their purpose they can find their fate." He said. "Just ask more of it to me if those dies."

"Dude, I'll be like sniffing drugs then."

"It's that or the hospital."

She smiled. "Okay. Now," She stood up. "Can we go back to the party already?"
