"I hope you already found a date to take." Jessie said while passing the bacons.
"Yes. I did, mom." Sa5m said anxiously.
"And may I know who will it be?" Jessie asked while Dave stopped sipping his coffee and waited for Sa5m's answer.
"It's Lyndon. Mark Lyndon Anderson."
"Really? Our neighbor?"
"What is with you and that boy?"
"What do you mean?" Sa5m asked her father.
"He meant, is there something romantic going on with the two of you, meathead." Nate said cruely.
"Nate! We're eating! Could you at least show some respect son?" Jessie said obviously a little angry.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." He said.
"There is no romantic relationship happening between us. He's just a friend who is kind enough to accompany me to the party 'coz last time I check, someone stole my date-to-be." Sa5m said obviously throwing it to Nate's face.
"Okay. Be sure of that."

"... and we're going to see if she's still there. We're going to interview her, talk to her, get to know her. So, what do you think shall I wear then?" Katelyn was talking non-stop while Sa5m is getting ready to practice.
But she seemed to be mentally absent. "Sa5m?" Katelyn repeated. "Sa5m??" She asked again.
"What?" Sa5m said a little bit startled.
"Are you okay?"
"What? Yeah, I'm fine." She said.
"Are you sure? 'Coz I've been like talking for minutes here already and you didn't speak a word."
"Sorry." Sa5m said as she finished to tie her shoe laces. "Ahm, what are you talking again?"
"The Paper staff allowed me to interview Ms. Sandra Hilton and will be a cover story of our papers' next issue."
"The Ms. Sandra Hilton??" Sa5m said.
"Yep."
"Wow. How could you be so lucky today?"
"Well," And Katelyn just shrugged her shoulders.
Sa5m suddenly stood up and was looking out for something. "What is that?" She said.
"What is what?" Katelyn stood up too.
"I, ahm, I hear something."
"Hear what?"
"Shhh." Sa5m hushed her friend.
After few seconds Katelyn got all creepy about Sa5m's performance. "Sa5m. . . you're scaring me."
And Sa5m exhaled deeply. "Are you okay?" Katelyn asked her friend when she saw that she's normally back again.
"Ahm, I guess I'm just hallucinating."
"Why? What happen."
"Earlier, I dopped my waiver and it flew all the way under the school bus. I can't get it so I tried to lift up the bus." Katelyn widened her eyes. "I wasn't really aware of what I did 'coz I didn't even felt how heavy could that be. Then now, I think I just heard my squad talking about how great my routines are."
"But how could that be possible. They are like meters away from us." Katelyn asked unbelievably.
"I know. Look, maybe I was just hallucination, okay?"
"How about the bus?"
"I don't know. Maybe I didn't do it anyway. Who could have. Right?"
