I really wanted to move but I didn't have a clue on how to move my body. And boy interested me.
Listen to me Bear. I'm telling you about this man. He is dangerous! You'll never live is you don't move.
I can't!
I could feel myself whimper under the purple eyes that glared down at my small form. I felt liquid start to spill from my eyes.
Bear please!
I could feel her fear. I could feel her.
I stepped back. "My bad, I thought you were someone else." I spoke and spun on my heel walking out of the courtyard.
~~~~
I cracked my eyes open as the sun shown down trough the glass that covered holes in the walls.
Up and at 'em Bear!
(Your Name)'s voice rang loudly in my head. She seemed happy?
Well, you seem happier than usual.
Yeah, well I guess it's because I got to see him again.
Him?
That man last night. I haven't seen him in a few years. It was...Nice.
I felt something stir inside of me. It was foreign yet I knew it was not good so I ignored it.
Can you tell me more about him?
Yeah, We can talk once you get better clothes.
I glanced down. She had a point. I was in rags and I frowned softly.
I have no currency to buy clothing with.
Check the drawers.
I went into the small kitchen the room held and checked the drawers.
What's this?
I pulled out something yellow.
That's an envelope.
I opened the envelope to reveal a bunch of strips of paper.
What are these?
That's the currency. You can use those to find clothes that will make you more appealing.
I gave a nod and opened the doors to find myself glaring at the ball of fire that heated the Earth from its radiation.
I need help first.
What? You're ruining my good mood.
Know of any good places?
Yup, I know plenty. I'll give you directions for some of them.
Okay, sounds good.
~~~~
I sat down on a bench as (Your name) called it.
You know, you never told me about that man.
I didn't?
Nope.
Sorry. I'll tell you now. That man was someone I used to know. He...
She stopped midsentence.
Is something wrong?
There he is!
She screeched and I realized that I was staring right at him. I stood up and went to follow him when (Your Name) interrupted me.
No! Even if I used to know him. What makes you think he will give you mercy?
I ignored her protests and followed almost as if I was in a trance.
Bear, don't make me beg!
I followed him to the same courtyard. He stood in front of me with his back to me.
"Still a misunderstanding?"
"No." My voice was filled with condifdence.
He turned his head to face me slightly and glares at me with his piercing purple eyes that sent a shiver down my spine.
"Then what are doing here?" I didn't respond. I didn't know why I had come here.
I looked down and contemplated on the reason when I was shoved backward.
BEAR!
(Your Name) screamed as I was knocked to the ground. I felt the gravel and rocks dig into my back creating tiny holes in my skin.
I stood up. The feeling of adrenaline running through my veins was exhilarating.
I stared at the man who looked genuinely surprised at me.
"You live?" I glanced down and nodded slowly.
"I guess I do."
"H-How?" His voice sounded weird and I shrugged.
His shocked expression went from surprised to angry within a millisecond. He started trying to hurt me.
Eventually I managed to start dodging. (Your Name) was cheering me on.
I was getting closer to him. Maybe I could strike him if I got close enough.
Bear. I love your enthusiasm, but you need to walk away.
What?! I've only just begun!
Bear! Listen to yourself. Do you sound normal?
I stopped and listened to the blood that flows through my veins. I listened to my laboured breathing. I listened to my fast heartbeat. I had listened to the words of a messenger of death.
Something wanted me to try and attack so I could get killed.
Yes, there are such things like that in this world. You are pure, and they want to change that.
I stared at my hands and I felt liquid start to leak from my eyes.
I stared up at the boy and spun around walking away.
"You're just going to walk away? Ha! You're weak!"
I ignored the comments and walked back to the bench where the bags of clothing waited patiently for me.
I snatched them up and went to the apartments.
I got into the room and locked the door behind me and set the bags down. I placed the envelope in the drawer and went to take a shower.
I laughed when he said she wouldn't look.
After freshening up and changing into night clothing, I jumped onto the bed and burrowed myself under the blanket.
Hey (Your Name)?
Yeah?
That man. You still haven't told me about him.
I haven't? Hold on.
~{Flashback}~
I ruffled the young boys (Hair Colored) hair as he laughed and jumping around the living room on pillows pretending the ground was lava. He had a normal child imagination. At least he wasn't trying to kill things.
"Mommy! Watch out,the lava's gonna catch you!"
I played along with him and screeched jumping into the couch to get away. He laughed and I smiled and jumped onto the other couch catching him and giving him a huge bear hug.
"Mommy!" He squealed and I kissed him.
"I love you my little boy. (Kid's Name)"
~{Fin}~
A blast from her past hit me and I sat there silently for a few moments. Thing about the new information.
(Your Name)?
Yeah?
So,he is your child?
