Chapter 17

~3rd Person P.O.V.~

"What was that?" (Your Name) screeched waving around the papers as she hit her best friend on the head. 

"Ow!" He yelped as he fell backwards off of the young girl's bed and the the ground hard. Onyx busted out laughing before the girl turned to him. "You're no better! You helped him didn't you?"

His face paled and the ravenette booked it out of the room as face as possible while the ginger lay in pain on the ground. I climbed over the bed and looked down at him. His heterochromia eyes staring back at me. He groaned and laid his back on the ground. I frowned.

"Bear how could you do something like that to me?!" He gave a sheepish laugh before standing up and grinning at the girl the same age as her. 

"You know Bear, I feel like this was your indirect way of asking me out..." Bear's face flushed and he rapidly shook his head. "No! I know that you are attached to that fictional boyfriend of yours, that's exactly why I wrote the fan fiction in the first place!" He explain and ended with a sigh. He fell backwards onto the bed and placed his hands behind his head. 

"If that's how you really felt, I'm starting to think you didn't want me to write that at all." (Your Name)'s face fell. and she hit him in the stomach before whipping out her phone to check the time. She stared at her lock screen on Lucifer and looked back at the papers she held in her hand. 

He really did do this for me huh? She thought and smiled before getting off of the bed and rereading her favorite parts of the fan fiction. She smiled happily at the thought of at least having her fictional self be with him. She sat down in her rolly chair and read through the story all over again as if she hadn't just read it. There were two stories, and she loved both of then with all of her being. She loved how even though the characters we OOC, they contributed to the plot. She loved that crazy parts where she would just laugh. Bear did a good job on the story even if he died in the ending. 

She set it down on her desk and turned on her phone again and stared at the lock screen. Maybe it was because she was tired, but she could've sworn Luci winked had winked just now.

"I'm having withdraws." She muttered and Bear laughed and sat up. "And what do mean by that?" She glared at him. "This is all your fault. I need to watch the anime again!" She ran her fingers through her hair trying to get out any of the tangles that resided in her mass of (Hair Color) hair. 

"Good, maybe this time I can watch it with you?" Bear asked confidently hoping she would say yes. Sadly, she turned him down like the other hundreds of times he wanted to watch an anime with her.

He let out a sigh and fell back onto the bed. 

Onyx sped into the room at a top speed shouting something that neither of them could quite catch. "Calm down and breathe before telling us!" (Your Name) Scolded her older brother and he stuck his tongue out at her. 

"Anyway, Mom said that if we were going to watch anime on the big TV we need turn it on right now or else she is going to steal the TV and watch her soap operas." Onyx seemed to shiver when her said  that which only caused Bear to laugh and the girl to get a headache from the obnoxious two.

"Alright, lets go then." (Your Name) stood up ans stretched before grabbing her phone and shoving it into the pocket of her hoodie. 

She got to the door frame and hesitated before turning around and looking at Bear.

"Why did you kill yourself off?" "Yeah, did you not like me or something?" Onyx interrupted and and shook his head. "No, I just needed a way to tie up loose ends, and me being there wasn't going to help any of that." He concluded after a short period of silence. She scoffed, "You left all of us feeling bad, thanks for that!" With that (Your Name) hit Bear's head again. "Come on you idiots, let's go watch some anime." Onyx stood but Bear stayed put. The siblings left and Bear continued to sit there.

(Your Name) came back in and gave him a skeptical look, "You comin'?" Bear shook his head. "I'm not allowed to watch the Devil is a Part-timer with you." She rolled her eyes and motioned him to follow. "Come on you big idiot, you're allowed to this one time." A smile spread across his face and he shot up and ran past the girl into the living room. He slung himself onto the couch and got comfortable. (Your Name) shook her head and walked downstairs turning the light off in her bedroom. She went and wedged herself between the two. She pulled out the remote and clicked on the TV. She turned on the anime.

The three of them got excited when the title screen popped up.

This is the best day ever, the three just chillin' watching (Your name)'s fictional boyfriend on the screen. She didn't care about his mistakes, She likes him. As they re-watched her favorite anime in its entirety, she wished that the story Bear wrote would come true one day, even if it is just a dream.
