I slowly stood gripping my head because of a searing pain. Wait. When did I get hands or a head? I looked around to see dirt and gravel surrounding me in a huge crater which I was standing in the middle of.
"Where am I?" I asked myself aloud and immediately slapped a hand over my mouth. My voice, I've never had one before and it surprised me. Why was I here?
I stumbled out of the crater and peered out over a cliff. On the other side was a town. People busily moving around loud noises. I could feel a breeze run through me, and lifted my arms up and closed my eyes. It felt as if I was flying. If only I could.
You can
I gasped softly. There was a voice inside my head. I opened my eyes and fell backwards.
"W-Who's there?" I stuttered out hoping to get an answer, but nothing came.
I felt a colder breeze run through me and I shivered under a human natural instinct.
I glanced at the world below me and spoke aloud to see if the voice would answer me. "If I jumped off of this cliff, would I fly? Or perhaps I would collide with the surface of where ever I am."
I heard a slight huff come from the back reaches of my mind and there came that voice again, but it was broken up into sections as if they were struggling to be set free.
Fly. Earth. Secret.
I'm guessing that the secret part was the answer to my "Who's there?" Question. Earth, is that where I was? A planet called Earth? Fly. So I wouldn't collide with 'Earth'. I gave another worried glance and quickly dove head first off of the platform of ground.
I closed my eyes. What if this voice had lied to me? I could die. Though I had never felt a dying sensation before so I wasn't exactly aware if it was supposed to hurt or anything.
I took a risk and opened my eyes. I peered down and there was the ground, however, I wasn't falling down.
I was flying! I gave out a boisterous laugh as I held my arms out and felt the wind rushing over my limbs.
I glanced back to see two big wings that seemed bigger than my whole body. One was black whilst the other was white. They were beautiful, but they weren't mine.
I managed to hit ground softer than normal and the wings seemed to melt off of me. I stared at the empty space where they used to be and I frowned softly. I liked the wings and wished they would stay on longer.
First, I have to find out where I'm going to stay, I can't just show up somewhere and say, "Hey, I'm living here now!"
When I got here it was maybe around 4-5 ish and after searching the whole town it was maybe around midnight.
I let out a heavy sigh wishing that I could find somewhere to sleep. I was TIRED. I mulled around a bit more before settling down on a bench.
"Looking for a place to stay?"I voice came from behind me and I jumped at the sudden sound. I spun around to face a pudgy woman who had a smile on her face.
"U-Um, yeah?" My voice came out weird yet the woman just gave me a warm smile. "You can stay here for free for at the moment." She then motioned for me to do something but I gave her a lost look.
'What was she trying to get me to do?'
Follow her!
A voice shouted in my head. That person again. I moved toward the lady and she led me to a very shabby looking building compared to the others I saw today.
"Welcome to Villa Rosa Samazuka apartments." The woman said and led me up some rickety old steps that looked like they were about to collapse.
I grimaced. I do not want to go up these stairs again but I guessed I would have to if I was to stay here for the night or any longer.
She stopped in front of the last door and I heard whimpering in the back of my head. Was that the person in my head or my innermost thoughts about staying in a weird apartment building and on a strange planet since I have honestly never been on a planet before. In fact, I didn't even know that they were inhabitable.
She handed me something metal and bid me farewell and left me to the awkward room that I do not want to stay in. I'd rather be on the ground level where at least I wouldn't fear of falling off the second floor. Even if there is something blocking it (I have no idea what they are called but they keep me from falling off the unstable building), I still fear that I will die from impact if I fall.
I stared at the odd metal shaped thing she had handed m0e before she left. "What is this and how do I use it?" I questioned aloud to myself.
Key. Hole.
There was that voice again. So this was a 'key' and I guess if goes into this hole that seems to match the shape of the 'key'.
I slipped the key into the hole and it fit. Since nothing happened, I spun it both ways to try to open the slab of wood. Eventually I heard a click and I pushed open the wood to reveal a room that had things in it.
What, I don't know what all of these things are called.
I yawned again and walked over to what I felt like I should sleep on.
Bed.
Bed it is then. I slowly laid on it and pulled something over me.
Blanket.
Okay, I pulled the blanket over me.
Good Night.
Good Night?
Oh, and the name's (Your Name).
