CHAPTER 27

After enjoying the boys baking and listening to the fun they have been having Michael remembered that the small school would be open soon after its holiday break. In walks my Mum, Aunt Gwen and Eve not only with the stuff we had asked for, which I mind-linked Alex to collect once the hallway was clear, but also stuff the boys would need for school including a small desk, one for each room. Peter volunteered to take the flat pack furniture upstairs for us just as Andrew came in from checking in with the patrol.
We made our way to the office luckily having enough seating as Michael's two dads, my dad, Andrew and our guests from the council all came in.
"If I may ask Jorge, please explain what is going on? The message you sent was vague to say the least. The rest of the Knowledge at the council is waiting for our report."
"I'll answer seeing as how its all about me. Gentlemen I'm the blue wolf, Elzar is my wolf and as you are part of the Knowledge you know what that means. I can tell you that I have been gifted with all five elemental powers which is how I know that you Billy are a weresnake and you Des are a fire fox."
"How did you know that?"
"After activating my fifth power it seems I can combine different types to do different things. In this case earth and spirit let's me see your animal and aura together."
"I don't know what to say. We knew that it had to be bad if Jorge was calling for us but this. Can you tell us what you've found so far?"
"I'll take over baby, the day I arrived to take over this pack was also the day of Conner's birthday. After my family arrived including my aunt she informed us of a way to check the pack for any danger by using Conner's spirit power. We checked a family who's father was extremely homophobic first because he asked to leave the pack and found him to be a spy. He was being paid to report on any power wolves, his mate and son had no idea but after finding out what he had done they still decided to leave. We then checked our warriors and found another spy, Conner got upset at his refusal to answer questions and froze the water in his body and had him moved to the cells. Conner informed us of a mental block he had placed on the cells of fear of them communicating with outside parties. We also found another with spirit power and together looking through the pack they have been able to get all the people we have been holding. As you know the council had asked me to look into the rumours that the former Alpha was not as good as he liked people to believe. With Conner's help again we found he had an underground bunker where he raped and tortured rogues and pack members and he also had a secret office. We discovered that the bunker was not built by him but by the previous host to the blue wolf, Reece Carmichael he had set up the bunker and a secret room for the new host but could only be accessed with the help of his mate. We can take you down there because no description I could give would do it justice."
"Do you have a secure phone line I can use, the council must be informed immediately."
"Can I ask you to delay just until you have heard me? My birth parents were killed when I was two, I was with them. If I had not been found by humans I would not be here. We know that an Alpha with the information of the legend has planted the spies and been killing anyone who has sightloss for the past eighteen years. Can you be certain that everyone on the council can be trusted? Can you promise that whoever you tell will not come after me and my family?"
"I can not promise that. What I can do is see if the ones I do trust with my life can come and help. Elder Evan is one of the people who I trust, he is also my uncle. Do you think you can use your spirit power over a video call?"
"I don't know. If I can't get a read on him do you think he'll come here?"
"Yes. He is the only family I have, if I ask him he'll come."
"Thank you Billy. Can you set up the Skype call Michael?"
"Sure can baby."
I still had my power on and as soon as the Elder was on the screen I could see his aura. I was glad to see no dark but he did have power of water so unbelievably I saw a blue wolf. Before Michael or Billy could speak I did.
"Elder Evan before we speak I have to ask. Is the room you are in secure?"
"Yes it is now. What is this about?"
"My name is Conner I'm Michael's mate. Your nephew said you like to be in the know."
"Yes and from that statement you know about the Knowledge."
"Actually my wolf Elzar set up the Knowledge about a thousand years ago. I know this information is safe with you but not with everyone so I have to ask that you don't tell the full council. You can tell the people you trust the most because I wish to ask for help."
"If your wolf is indeed Elzar, out of five how many?"
"All five."
"You are who you say you are. I have someone that can teleport, me and my friends can be there within an hour."
"We must ask that you tell them nothing until they are here and you teleport outside our gate, they will not get in until they are checked. Too many people have been found in this pack alone. If you have anyone else that can use spirit bring them please I can teach them what to look for."
