Chapter Twenty Four
Prom Night ★
Before I start, I wanna say hello to my best friend, Patricia! This one is for you, hoe. hihi.
I can't believe it's finally Prom! A few more days and I can finally graduate high school.
Except for the gruesome fact that I still have to spend my summer with my cheating mother, but I guess other than that all is well.
Me and Will have been going out as often as we could, and I really really like him. He's one of the best guys I've ever met.
Of course, Bob has been giving me the creepy notes. And it's been driving me crazy. I've never been this scared for myself.
I can't go back to that, I don't want it to happen to me ever again, especially now that I'm planning to tell dad and my brothers about everything that happened to me.
"Loui? Are you okay? You've been spacing out on me again." Harley scolded.
"I was just thinking about prom," I answered grinning.
"Of course you are, you and Will are going steady huh?" She smirked.
She probably knew this was gonna happen.
I nodded, just thinking about Will gives me butterflies in my stomach. He makes my heart flip, even by just doing the little things.
"He's an amazing guy, Louise. Plus, he was offered a scholarship to Stanford. You'll get to see him around campus." She replied happily.
"What? He never told me about that."
Her smile dropped lightly, "Shit, I must have ruined the surprise."
I scoffed, "You always ruin the surprise, Harley. You suck." I pouted.
"Oh tush, better me than someone else right? Now, let's go do your hair and make up, and then we can switch."
❤
A few minutes after we finished getting ready, the doorbell rang.
Harley looked gorgeous, she was wearing a red strapless dress that cascaded the floor in the most sophisticated manner, her hair was curled and pinned to one side. She kept her make up light.
While I on the other hand is wearing a black dress, the bottom part of my dress is like the color of the sunset, it reached the floor and it was beautiful. It isn't in the market because mother designed this dress for me, specifically for prom. I guess that's one of the many perks for having a fashion designing mother. My hair was tied in a pony tail, leaving a few strands of hair to let loose, my hair was curled after Harley tied my hair.
"Darlings, the boys are waiting for you in the living room." Margarette peeked inside my room. "You both look beautiful."
"Thank you, Margarette. We'll be down in a minute." I replied smiling.
Harley and I put on our shoes and went straight to my living room.
Will and Kyle are watching football in my living room, so they didn't notice us right away.
