Our minny make out session was interrupted when I felt someone tap my shoulder and cleared their throat.
"Ashley my birthday boy we have a surprise for you" I heard my mum say excitedly.
I pull away from Ben and look over to my parents.
"Hold on" I ran to reception and picked up my subscription and quickly back to them.
They grinned at me their eyes twinkling with joy; me and been sood up picked up our bags and followed them to the parking lot.
We drove for a whole hour until we got to a small semi detached house near the local college. Mam looked back at me grinning "this place is yours Ash and Benji what do you think" mam cheered excitedly.
"O MY GOD" ,I squealed with excitement. But then reality hit me like a ton of bricks.
"How will we afford this mam and dad. I haven't got a job, I missed nearly all of my A level exams and I still haven't applied for college" I looked at the house and back at my patents questionly
Dad laughed slightly "Benjamin's parents are paying for it. We maid a deal with them we pay for Ben's college funds and they will pay for the living space until you both get jobs. And I have your job covered already Ash, your old science teacher said you can re sit your A level science for free next year as long as you be his assistant by the way there will be money he says he will pay you himself" Dad looked at me proudly.
"Really" I say dump founded
"Sweetie I already furnished the apartment for you both with my savings so you won't have to worry and I sent an application for you to resit your A level English and maths at college for next year you should have a call back soon. Can not believe my baby's are grown up. I will miss you both so much" mam kissed my forehead and did the same with Benji then hugged Benjamin tightly he returned her hug reluctantly "Ben I got you a councilor she will come over twice a week. she's my litle sister you have met her before a few times so you will be comfortable. I will also now if you answer the door so please don't be rude and answer to her OK" mam pecked his forehead again.
"Catch slugger" dad threw Ben the car keys and the keys to the apartment stuck to them; he turned and got into a taxi with mam.
"Dad what are you doing" I said and tapped on the passenger window
"He has a licence don't worry. I can use mams car. Bye kids" dad called popping his head from the window as the taxi drove of.
"O my god Ben I can't believe this happened" I nervously opened the apartment door; I stepped inside and gasped at how stunning it was "this is so cool" Ben said in awe.
