Ashley POV
Mam,dad and Sarah have finally left;so know I can get some sleep. I may be going home tomorrow but I still feel very run down.
I lay down and get comfy when someone else walks in; I sigh loudly and sit up to see Benji and my aunt Gwen.
"Sweetie its eight o'clock couldn't you come earlier" I glare at Ben and whine like a seven year old not allowed to have junk food.
"Im sorry angel I just got caught up talking to Gwen" Benji say in a smooth voice whilst he sits beside me.
"I am getting better Benji I should be home tomorrow" I say happily but accidentally yawning
"I can tell you are getting better your hair is growing back and your not as pale as you used to be" Benji says whilst he strokes his hand over the small bristles on the top of my head; Benji then gently clutches the back of my neck and pulls me towards him. I lean forward and close the gap between us and and place my lips against Benji's and we kiss passionately.
Gwen sits awkwardly next to Benji and clears her throat loudly. Benji pulls away slightly and pecks my lips once more before rubbing his nose gently against mine. I know its weird he does that but I love it. "I love you more than everything" Benji says quietly as he sits back
"I love you more than you think" I say and peck the back of his hand.
"Hello Ashley how did the kidney transplant go?" Gwen asks with a kind smile
"It was OK aunt Gwen" I replied returning her smile
"That's good. Why did you need a kidney transplant again?" Gwen asks with confusion on her face.
"It was a side affect to the chemotherapy" I shrug as if its no big deal
"Ow. How long have you had leukemia for I have only known you have had it for four months" Gwen's tone becomes slightly accessing.
"I have had it for nearly a year know. I am sorry no one told you earlier but you live out of the country my own sister didn't know till two months after I was diagnosed so you don't have to be so offended"
"Its OK I was just wondering why your mam didn't tell me sooner that's all. I used to be the first person sje would calk if there was any trouble know I seem to be her last person. I gyes I am just a little jealous of Eirwen. Because I am the youngest out of the both of them I sometimes do get forgotten a bit." Gwen gives me a sad smile
"I won't forget you next time I have any problems I promise." I replied with a nod
"Its ok I am going to be moving back to the area soon and I won't live far from you and Benji" Gwen winks at Benji
"Really ugh why" Benji's voice clips with annoyance as he slumps his head down onto our entwined hands.
"What's wrong with that Ben" I grin down at him and yawn uncontrollably
"That means I will have to have more canceling session's. When I don't need them."Benji sits uo glares at Gwen who shrinks back into her seat.
"BENJI" I say and slap his hand.
Benji yelps a little and pulls his hand away rubbing it.
"Don't worry he's a softy" I say reassuringly to Gwen who visibly relaxes.
"If you don't want the sessions I could stop them. But I will end up having Katie on my back" Katie says seriously
"No its OK I like talking to you" Benji replies with a small smile.
"Visiting hours are over" a male nurse says and peeks head through the door.
Benji stands an d kisses me quickly " love you see you tomorrow" I say before he turns around " I love you to" Benji quickly replies
" tata Ash" Gwen says before she leaves the room.
