A silken silhouette
Shivers in the light
Torn and so shameful
A streaming unequalled blight
Betrayed and deceived
This woman deep in tears
Struggling just to be
Yet no one ever hears
Desperate to leave these shadows
That linger all around
Longing always to be,
More than what they've found
Lonely is the darkness
Grasping in the shade
A silken silhouette
Wishing for more than this life she made
