As I walk under velvety skies
I gaze up at the moon
It's your face I see there
And I hope that you'll be home soon
Memories of long ago
Draped on yesterday's past
Walking hand in hand
A love I know will last
As I brace myself against this storm
I stand in this gusting wind
Holding tight to a forgotten spark
Waiting to see the trees bend
Strong is the faith my heart holds
Calm is the song I sing
I glance toward the horizon
Seeing the brighter tomorrow you bring
