The Sabertooth finally got used without their Lucy. And after Minerva and the others came back and heard about Sting's situation they're desperate to hide everything from him.

"I still can't be unfair with Sting...", Rogue said in low voice. He's debating with himself whether or not tell him about Lucy. "Ro-kun.", Yukino came to him worriedly. "You've been that way since our last week in Reverie", she continued. She felt changes on him. She would call it a girl's instinct.

He didn't give her a reply and headed to the request board. "Finding a book for a reward of 1 million jewels?", he found a rather simple job that rewards a large amount of money. But what gave him a bothered look was the requestor, it was a Heartfillia which reminds him of their Lucy who once belonged to Fairy Tail. "Ro-kun...." Before Yukino approach closer he took the job and made Sting sign it because Minerva was out.

He went out alone and departed to the Heartfillia's state. He didn't even bring Frosch with him on the job.

At the same time of his departure, Lucy's managing things one after another to recreate everything that his father worked hard for. She hired Miss Spetto again and all the former servants of the Heartfillia dukedom, she also went to meet Celesta and hired her, and she went her way all through another continent just to find Ferez and hired him but she's still in short of hand. She's expecting that someone would take up the job she put on request.

"You're not planning to return as a mage?" Celesta asked Lucy a bit sudden. She was still working on some papers that she haven't been paying any attention. "There may be no more chance", Ferez followed up.

"Huh? Were you saying something?", Lucy asked as she finally got hold of the reality but Celesta no longer said anything.

After working for three hours straight, Lucy found herself at peace. Ferez and Celesta were out to prepare for something.

In a wide estate where you can see nothing but mountains, she felt alone. Her spirits were no longer responding to her as if the contract was broken. She misses everyone, however, she felt that it is better this way not until a week later someone she knew came knocking on her door with the job request she put up.

"Lucy-sama." He called softly. She didn't expect that Rogue would be the one taking the request. She thought that it must've been Celesta's idea to send out the request to the guild.

"I'm glad you're fine Lucy-sama," he smiled at the taken aback Lucy. "Rogue....hic..hic.." seeing one of her friends that kept her company when she was all alone made her breakdown and started crying.

He was relieved that she hadn't changed at all and that she's alive and safe. Although he wanted to take her into his arms, part of his conscience towards Sting refrains him from doing so.

Lucy composed herself and stopped her tears after a few minutes of wallowing. "You don't really have to be that polite to me you know. I'm no longer a mage as well," she emphasised. "Still, I'm just a hired help so it's natural for me to be polite," he clears his throat trying to get away from calling just her name without the honorifics.

"We never did those when we were doing those jobs," she reminded him of the times they spent together. "I guess we Sabertooth aren't different from the rowdy Fairy Tail," he laughs.

Before they knew it, they spent most of their time talking and reminiscing of their happy moments with everyone. They only noticed the time when Ferez came knocking to enter.

"Lu—," before he could call her name, he saw one of the dragon slayers he met before. His eyes wondered towards him and gave him a puzzled look. "I remember you've met each other before?," she recalls. "Yes, I've definitely met him last time. Is he here to do the job request?," he asked.

"Yes. Thank goodness you came or else I would've never noticed that it's already evening," she sighed of relief as she glanced at the sky outside noticing it's already nighttime. She stood up and added, "You can call it a night here for today. We can talk about the job tomorrow. Ferez, please show him the guest room. I'll just finish cleaning up here."

Ferez nodded and signaled Rogue to follow him. Although Rogue wanted to stay longer with Lucy, he couldn't help but to be threatened by Ferez's scary expression.

As they walked, Ferez asked him, "Are you here to bring her back?" And Rogue was frozen. He didn't think thoroughly whether he wanted to let everyone know she's back or to bring her back. All he ever thought was he wanted to see her again. He couldn't answer the question raised to him at all.

"It's all right if you can't think of an answer at all. I'm just wondering what you wish to accomplish by accepting that job," Ferez didn't wait for his answer at all and continued, "Celesta was the one who made the request visible to anyone who always think of her. The fact that you saw that means she is important to you." Hearing him say those things, he realised just how much she really means to him.
