With You I'll Overcome All

Each group sent out their player for the Maze Run part.

With Lucy's cheering, Sting got energized wanting to win the whole game just for her and the guild.

"Oi, Salamander. Looks like your buny princess just got snatched away." teases Gajeel as if he's provoking him. In return Natsu just gave him a small hint of sadness in his eyes in silence making him not to speak any more words. "Do your best Natsu!" cheered Happy that made him realise the very first reason why they are at the games.

"Natsu!! Fairy Tail believes in you!" Lisanna supports. She was waving and giving a big bright smile almost tearing up as she saw the sad expression of him earlier. The master and other guild members also gave him their cheer."That's right. Fairy Tail is our home..... I'll be taking this win!" he got back his spirits and finally smiled. He thought about the Lucy he knew and felt her cheering. "This will be for you, Lucy." he whispers to the air making it only be heard by the dragon slayers.

"Natsu......?"

Lucy? He thought and looked at where she's standing at but she was not even looking at him. All her focus were in but one person, Sting.

"Now! The Maze run shall commence!" Chapati lola starts.

They all took their own path they think is right.

Sting passed through a slanted and inverted door while Natsu could see him as well but was in a different place to him. "So this is how a maze works?" complains Gajeel who is curretly stuck at a dead end.

"What if I destroy this?" he uses his brain and tried it but then the maze quickly revert back to how it was and the buzzer buzzed making his ears deaf.

"Gajeel-kun seem to have forgotten the rules. 'No cutting the maze' is one of the challenges for a wizard's wisdom, courage and luck." Yajima explained.

Levy face plamed herself thinking that he's an idiotic one. He should've known that it's impossible.

"A -1 points for Fairy Tail B!" exclaimed Chapati Lola.

"Tsk." he hissed and returned from the start.

The other contestants were failing one after another. Only Natsu and Sting are left. "The race sure is neck in neck ~ kabo" says Mato.

"It's like Natsu learned maze hunt in tenrou." Erza relieved. "Yeah. He uses his flame brain for the first time." Gray states trying to joke around.

"Natsu can win this. I just know it." Lisanna adds watching as closely as possible.

Then at a point the two meet up.

"That concludes the special round!" Chapati lola announced out of the blue. "The 30 minute rule starts, kabo!" Mato tapped the timer.

"So this is the end of the maze? Natsu-san I won't lose against you." he stepped his right foot backward and his left a bit forward.

"Just as I wanted!" Natsu punched his hands together and starts warming up.

"Fire Dragon's Wingbeat!" he attacks first hitting Sting directly.

As the smoke cleared, he was standing unscathed like as if it was nothing.

"When did Sting win against that kinfd of attack?" asks Lucy who knows that he can't block those as she was training with him.

"Your fire is stronger than his which is probably the reason. His weak fire does not have an affect." Rogue explains.
