The Black Mage

Lucy couldn't sleep at that night just by remembering what happen between her and the salamander. She felt heart throb and can't get it out. She didn't see Sting back to the inn either. She was so worried that maybe he's in danger or still looking for her.

So the very next day Yukino notices her yawning. She don't usually yawns that much unless she didn't get a good night sleep and also thinking where Sting could be. She's worried that they got into a fight and that they hate each other. While for Rogue he didn't really care any.

Minerva told them not to worry after hearing it from Yukino and told her that Orga will take his place instead. In an instant Sting finally came up. Lucy tried to talk to him but was then ignored. "Let me fight the battle arena." he insisted to Minerva. "What do you plan? Kagura's up in Mermaid heel, Jura in Lamia Scale, Ichiya from Blue Pegasus, Bacchus in Cerberus and Natsu for Fairy Tail." she pin pointed and highlighted Natsu specifically. He glanced at Lucy for a bit and nodded at her accepting what she just stated getting an okay reply from her as well.

"Sting!" Lucy blocks his way not letting him pass so easily. "What?" he gave a cold shoulder. She was like a trash to him now. She went to the side and let him go as she couldn't even speak a word to him. "I have nothing to say anymore...." Sting whispered before he completely goes to the ground as though only Lucy and Rogue heard it.

Lucy held back the tears that wants to come out just by hearing him and Rogue was wondering what it is all about. The participants where then all in the field. Natsu wasn't in a good mood either but his focus in on the game. He didn't even utter a single word about winning and such as he just stood there quietly.

"What's wrong with Natsu-kun?" asks the First Master, Mavis to Makarov. "Must be because of Lucy...." he sighed in reply. He too worries about them but he never got a chance to talk to her at all. "Master don't worry, Natsu is serious about winning for the guild." Lisanna reassures.

The battle started with them not moving an inch for 2 minutes wasting their time. Then Bacchus went to drink his sake as a signal of their start.

Sting jumped up and attacked them with Holy Dragon's Breath. Kagura just slashed it while Jura countered it with stone walls, Bacchus didn't even do anything and was thrown, Ichiya was also thrown, and Natsu countered it with his flame. The arena was full of sand smoke. Almost nothing can be seen. Lisanna faitfully prays that Natsu stays well and win. Lucy believes in Sting that he's still all right.

As the sand smoke cleared came out alive Sting, Jura, Kagura and Natsu while Sting has Bacchus and Ichiya's points for he has their token. "Only the strong ones lives." comments Minerva. They know Sting has no chance against Jura, one of the ten wizard saints an on top of it Kagura won't be beaten easily as well the same goes to the salamander.

"This is really bad Master." Levy worries. "Don't worry. Natsu can beat anyone." Lisanna confidently said. She felt an enormous power from him even just by watching him.

"Stiiiiiiiiiiiing!!" Lucy screamed taking everyone's attention but Sting didn't even bother to look. "I believe in you! Lector too! Everyone in Sabertooth believes in your power." she cried and left the spectators view. Natsu gave him a deadly gaze and rage in anger because he ignored Lucy. He attack him head on full power of the Fire Dragon's Fist.

Kagura and Jura just waited for them until one is down. They stoodby idly watching them finish each other.

"I already let her go, so why?!" Natsu yelled as he kicked his stomach making him vomit blood. He went back to his feet and wiped the blood in his mouth. "How I treat her is none of your business."
