We walked into my apt. building, tired from running so much. As we entered, Sonic looked around. I tried to ease him.

"This place is small, so there's not a large space to run. But there's a big roof, so you can go up there anytime you want. You can pretty much travel anywhere. As you always say, 'As long as there's a place to run, I'll be happy,'"

Again, he seemed a little confused.

"How do ya know all this stuff?" he asked for the second time.

"It's a long story," I answered again.

"Can ya make it shorter?" he insisted.

I giggled. "Not really without scaring you," I said.

As we entered my apt., I saw my mom kneeling by the large brown couch. She seemed to be looking at something.

"Mom! Guess who I found? SONIC!" I told her enthusiastically.

She turned to me. "Really? That's amazing! I found someone, too. She looks familiar."

I walked over to the couch, surprised to see what I saw. "Mom, that's Cream and Cheese!"

Sonic walked over to the couch after hearing Mom found Cream and Cheese. "Are they alright?" he asked nicely, also a little worryingly.

"I believe so," answered Mom. "I think they're just a little tired."

I remembered an episode of Sonic X. Amy and Knuckles were walking in the sewers, trying to escape. I thought we should find them.

"Mom, can I go look for Amy and Knuckles? They're probably in the sewers, maybe at the Shoppes.

"I don't know sweety. It's a far walk," answered Mom.

"Well, Sonic is the best fighter of all time. He could protect me," I turned to Sonic. "Unless you don't want to come," I winked.

"Of course I'll come!"

"Great!" I was so excited. My first quest with Sonic. Now I know how Chris felt: it felt amazing!
