--OMG I haven't uploaded in, like, forever! I've been so busy with DeviantArt and homework, but now that I'm grounded from DA for a month, I'll be writing more. It's a win/loss situation :) Okay, so last time I said each part would have 1 chap, like most peoples' stories. If you read The New Mobius you would know that (lol). So here we go!

Finally! Rouge was here, Sonic and Knuckles aren't in a scuffle anymore, and Shadow was kept under further supervision by me. Everything was the best as could be!

As the gang walked atop the mountains, I stopped and veered my view towards the right. None of the guys saw me, since they were in front. The view was amazing. Trees' leaves swung like swings, along with my shoulder length hair. I could see forever. I felt where my necklace was supposed to be, remembering I had a fair trade with Rouge.

"Ives? You comin'?" Sonic asked. I turned to see Sonic left behind; the others were ahead headed down the mountain's slope.

"Yep," I replied, jogging towards him. I followed behind Sonic, not looking back but somehow I knew that Shadow was still there.

"Come on, Shadow," I called without looking back towards the spot I was standing moments before. Shadow soon ended up next to me looking straight ahead, but with a subtle smile on his face.

I looked down at him and he shot his pupils to the upper left-hand side of his eyes. I instantly looked away and we continued on.

We arrived home around 8:00 p.m. I bet my mom was frantic about where I was. Amy, Cream, and Tails could handle it, though.

I told Sonic that I would be down to tell them when food was ready and to play video games to pass time. Sonic, of course, agreed and rushed inside his apartment, setting up the Wii.

I jogged up the stairs and entered my house, walking in on a lunatic mother. She was going crazy on me saying things like, "WHERE WERE YOU?! I ALMOST CALLED THE COPS!!! DON'T YOU DARE DO THIS EVER AGAIN!"

"Gawd, mom, I was helping Sonic and the gang. No need to scream."

"Are you sure you were okay?"

"Mom, were talking about Sonic here. You know how strong he is."

"Sigh.....fine. I'm sorry I yelled at you."

"Apology accepted. Is food ready?"

"Excuse me?"

Uh oh. Here we go again....

......................................................................................................................................................................................

Finally, the next day is here. I looked at my clock and sighed. Why am I getting up at three? Wait a sec....it's not three...

"I'M LATE!!!!!!!!" I jumped out of bed and grabbed clothes out of the drawers. I ran around the house frantically. I jumped up and down putting on my jeans and my shirt was half way over my head before I ran into the wall. I landed on something soft and it and I made an "oomph" sound.

"IVY!" I heard Shadow scream from beneath me. "Get off!"

"PIG PILE!!!!!!!!" Knuckles exclaimed. I tried to get up but I managed to get on my stomach before Knuckles and everyone else landed on top of me. My nose touched Shadow's and I instantly blushed and so did he.

"Guys give them a break," Rouge suggested, walking gracefully into my slight view.

"Nah...this is comfy," Sonic decided.

"Says you," Silver argued beneath him. "This was a bad idea."

Rouge came to me and grabbed my hands, struggling to pull me out of the pile. Espio, Vector, and Charmy helped also, which gave a large boost of energy. I slid out and everyone dropped a floor onto Shadow.

"GET OFF NOW!!!!!!" Shadow ordered loudly. Everyone scrambled off quickly and I came over to help Shadow up. I took his hand and he shook it away, getting up on his own.

"I can accomplish tasks on my own," he pointed out. He walked away saying, "Finish putting on your shirt."

I looked down and scrambled to get my shirt on, blushing insanely.

"Sorry I was late...it looked like it was three when I woke up but it was eight..." I explained.

"Better hurry up. Your mom told us to bring you to the orientation," Sonic instructed.

"I'll fly you over there," Tails added.

I seriously hate school. Of course it was going to be my first year at the middle school, but that doesn't help. I was the oldest 7th grader in our grade. I was ignored, sometimes bullied, and defiantly not popular.

Tails landed his plane on top of the school's roof.

"Thanks, Tails," I said.

"It was nothing. I'll come back at 10:30," he replied.

"Will do," I answered, soon after followed by him leaving on the Tornado. I entered the door on the roof and went down the stairs, entering the lobby.

A group rounded the corner. There were about a dozen students with a teacher. I came up to them.

"Excuse me, I'm here for the orientation," I explained to the teacher.

"Ivy I presume," he responded.

"Yes, sir."

"Nice to meet you, Ivy. I'm Mr. F, the principal." He held out his hand and I took it. My face went blank when I heard the words "principal".

I heard snickers coming from the group directed towards me. Ugh, I hate meeting the faces I discouraged so much. I got in the group and we traveled upstairs. I strode next to a copper-haired girl. People were whispering about me and snickering.

"Ignore them," the copper-haired girl said. "They're just morons."

I smiled.

"My name's Elizabeth. I didn't see you at the elementary school. What team were you on?"

"6-1."

"That makes sense. I was on 6-3. It would be hard to know if we were alive on two different teams, and I right, Ivy?"

Great, she knew my name. I nodded and smiled kindly. Maybe I have a chance of a friend here.

After the orientation ended, I jogged to the roof's entrance door. Elizabeth called my name and I turned.

"Hey we should hang sometime. You seem pretty cool." She handed me her phone number on a white piece of paper.

"Call me, okay, Ivy?"

I nodded and she jogged off, joining her other friends. I ran up the stairs and got onto the roof, looking at the sky for the Tornado. Behind the clouds I saw the blue plane with a ladder dangling from the edge. I clutched onto the ropes as the plane sped off, climbing it slowly to meet Tails in the seat up above.

"Hey, Tails," I greeted once I buckled myself into the seat.

"Hi, Ivy. How was it?"

"Good...it was good." I repeated while smiling. I had a new friend.

--Thanks for reading! Hope you liked it :) So yeah..this is how Ivy met Lizzy. Hannah and everyone else are going to come soon, but Fiona is coming later...a lot later. If you have questions or comments just ask! I won't bite :) Bye!
