(A Family Secret is Revealed)

Tori walked through the castle less than pleased. The few people she came across quickly scattered or abruptly changed direction as they felt the anger radiating off the blonde woman. Reaching a set of two doors that would lead outside she threw the door on the right side open and walked out. Angrily she stormed across the courtyard before approaching a small building where enforcers often relaxed when they were not needed.

Tori picked up a dagger off a table amongst other daggers that were used for training. She took the picture and folding it in half she stuck the dagger through it. Reaching the entrance she noticed her father toward the front of the small lounge. Putting the dagger in her right hand she pulled her arm back and then released the dagger. She watched as it hit the wall 6 inches from where her father stood.

"Whoa!" Tyson said surprised. All eyes fell on Tori.

Warner's training was all that kept him from jumping. He reached over and had to forcefully pull the dagger out of the hall. As he did the picture opened. He turned and looked at Tori. He swallowed seeing more anger than he'd ever seen in his daughter's eyes. An anger that had never been directed at him.

"Tori...."

"No," she said barely above a whisper. Turning around she walked away.

"Warner what is....shit," Archer said seeing the picture. "She knows."

"Knows what?" Tyson asked. "What the hell just happened? What does she know that has her suddenly pissed off at you?!"

"Might as well tell them," Ken said from another doorway. "They'll find out anyway."

"Find out what?" Oakley asked becoming concerned.

"Ranger is my son," Warner said with a sigh. More than one mouth fell open.

"Might want to tell mom you cheated on her," Ken said and walked away to head after his sister.

"So much for Ken won't tell her," Archer remarked.

"He didn't," Warner said. "Though he may have led her to the information," he said and rubbed his hand through his hair.

"Does your wife..."

"Yeah she knows," Warner informed everyone. "Karen is human. I was given permission to marry her only if I....with a female enforcer. No one thought any offspring of a wolf and human could be as powerful as mine are."

"Tori is the only one that didn't know?" Tyson asked.

"Yeah," Warner admitted. "Ken found out a while back and...like Tori he didn't take it well." Warner leaned back against the wall. He wanted to go after Tori but he knew she was very angry and he had no idea how to handle the situation.

"Why didn't you explain why to him?" Oakley asked confused.

"He's never given me the chance," Warner informed the occupants of the room. More than one person nodded.

"When did your wife find out?" Tyson asked.

"Before it ever happened," Warner replied. "She wasn't happy about it but accepted it. We actually put off getting married and sort of took a break for a couple of weeks during the time."

"So that you wouldn't technically be cheating on her," Oakley rationalized. Warner nodded his confirmation.

"Have you met Karen?" Tyson asked looking at Ranger. The enforcer shook his head he hadn't.
