~A Year Later~

Annie and Finnick are getting married today, they decided that they don't want any bridesmaids or groomsmen or any of that because they didn't have that much money to be put towards their wedding and so that's what's happening. They've also chosen it too be an Autumn wedding, October 12th. Which is when it gets a little chilly and around about the time where people get sick but they said the ceremony won't take long and then it's the venue than its over. I still remember the first time I met Annie when we were five years old...

Flashback

All the bullies laugh at the little girl with red hair and my daddy said I should stand up for myself and others!

"Hey! You stop being meanies and leave her alone!" I say

"We do what we wanna!" Pete says (A/N; Not Peeta)

"Oh ya?! I'll just get my daddy who's a police officer to come down and tell your mommy and daddy" I smile as he is scared now and he runs off with his friends and I smile at the girl

"Hi! I'm Katniss Everdeen! What's your name?" I ask

"I-I'm Annie, Annie Cresta" she squeaks

"I don't have any friends because I'm new" she pouts

"Don't worry! I'll be your friend!" I squeal smiling and she giggles

"Can we be best friends?" She asks

"Yeahhhhhhh!" I exclaim

Flashback over

I smile at the memory. That was one of my favourite memories, that's how our friendship grew and a year later we met the others and that's how our group became to be. Willow has also found her best friend. Her name is Olivia and they're both like two peas in a pod and Olivia is always over but she's a very sweet girl and is a perfect friend for Willow.

"Willow why don't you play with the other kids?" I ask rubbing her back

"Because I don't know them mommy" she says, she's too shy... Poor baby

"Okay. It's alright you can just stay here then" I say kissing the top of her head, when it does come to these situations Willow gets all shy and won't talk to anyone which she got a little from me and Peeta. Peeta is usually confident I'm not all that confident.

I look around and see some people pointing at me and whispering from the dance floor making me cautious... Just because I was eighteen when I got pregnant doesn't mean they have to judge me, at least I was on the pill when Peeta and I were sexually active but things happen and you just have to accept them

"Don't worry about them Katniss. I bet they wouldn't know the first thing about raising a child" Peeta comforts rubbing my thigh and I sigh

"Yeah. But they all don't have stretch marks and all" I mumble

"But do they have a husband who loves them dearly?" He smiles and I do too

"Look. Baby, Annie and Finnick absolutely adore Willow. They were there when I wasn't no matter what they say Annie is still going to defend you. She's Willow's godmother after all" he states and I think it over. He's right, those woman are all single, I'm here with a beautiful daughter and a sexy husband with a rocking hot body which might I say is mouth watering

"You're right" I sigh and he chuckles kissing my temple

"How bout you give Willow to Gale and we'll show those woman how real couples dance" he says in my ear and I giggle, we give Willow to Gale, him smirking knowing our plan and that's what happens Peeta and I dance, I'm talking about how the other couples are dancing. Even Annie and Finnick and those girls look at me with envy and jealousy as Peeta pulls my body close to his and I smirk to them over my shoulder making them glare

"Kiss my neck" I whisper in his ear and he does making their mouths drop and I see Annie trying not to get too much amusement out of it and Finnick is cracking up and they end up walking off and sitting down and just observe that's when Annie and Finnick approach us

"That was amazing" Annie smiles and I blush

"Who were they?" Peeta asks

"Finnicks cousins but I don't like them and they don't like me either but that's how it works with this stuff" Annie admits

"As long as you're having a good time" I smile and she does too

"Yeah. Poor baby. All worn out already" she says as Gale walks up to us giving me Willow

"Yeah. She's had a long day"

"Really Katniss. Take her home get a good nights sleep. Really the party will be over soon. Our flight to Hawaii leaves in two hours" Annie says but I'm still not really keen on leaving

"Are you sure? I don't want you to be upset"

"Peeta. Take your wife home. She needs to sleep" Finnick says and Peeta chuckles

"C'mon Katniss. We'll meet up with them when there back from their honeymoon" Peeta states and so I say goodbye to Annie and Finnick, tell the congrats and Peeta takes me out to our car, now that I think about it I'm actually really tired.
