"Have a great holiday guys. Class dismissed" I say and grab my bag and keys and I notice one of my students have stayed behind

"Mrs Mellark. Can I ask you something?" She asks walking up to me

"Sure Savannah but it has to be quick, gotta pick my daughter up in twenty minutes" I say and she nods

"Well you see. Our dog had a puppy and last week the puppies mother died and we can't look after the two Labradors cause we're moving and we can't find any homes for them and I was wondering. You've got a daughter maybe you can have them?" She asks

"Oh I don't know Savannah" I say

"Oh please Mrs Mellark!" She begs

"Okay. Tomorrow I'll drop by and see how Willow is with them and I'll talk things over with my husband but I'm sure we can take them. I'm not sure yet though" I say and she smiles

"Thank you!" She squeals and I giggle walking out with her

"No problem. Just give me your address and I'll be over tomorrow afternoon"

"Wait? You're saying yes to having the puppies?" I question Peeta and he chuckles

"Yeah. I don't mind. As long as Willow is fine then I am too" he says. Well that went better than I expected... I was expecting him to argue and say no but I guess the only thing to do is see if Willow likes them.

I drive with Willow in her car seat and we drive on the way to one of my students house, Willow says she's so excited to meet the puppies which I guess is already a good sign. Sadly Peeta was called in at work today cause people are stocking up for this years Winter and it happens every year and so were stuck on a Friday afternoon by ourselves till six but at least he's getting a reasonable amount of money.

I knock on Savannahs door holding Willow and Savannah opens it she smiles and opens it wider for us too enter

"Hi Mrs Mellark. Have you made up your mind?" She asks

"We'll take them if Willow is okay with it" I say setting her down

"Okay. Follow me" she says and she walks us to where two still very small puppies lay one brown and the other golden, Willow runs up to them and sits down petting them and I smile

"How much do you want for them?" I ask reaching for my purse

"Oh no Mrs Mellark!" She states

"Their for free. We just want them in a safe home" she says

"Are you sure?" I question and she giggles

"Yes".

"Mommy! Can I call the girl Milia and the boy Coco?" Willow asks as I bring them in our home inside cages and I smile

"Yeah. We can call them whatever you want" I reply as she shuts the door and I take them to the living room and place them on the floor

"Okay now you have to stay still and don't say anything, just wait for them to come out okay?" I say and she nods and I open the cage. We wait for a few seconds till one at a time they step onto the soft carpet

"Their so cute mommy" Willow whispers

"Very cute" I agree and it's not long till their all comfortable and always with Willow and I

"Why don't you show them the back? But keep the pool gate closed and make sure that the back gate is locked" I say and she nods and takes them outside, she's so happy now and all she'll want now is a kitten and that'll be done.
