Chapter 4 - Tasuku vs. Bal

Hibiki's Pov

I woke up, brushed my teeth, changed into my clothes. "Are you ready for your second day of school?" Rika-san asked. I just stayed silent as usual. "I'm leaving." I said in a monotone voice as I grabbed my school bag. "Good luck on your second day of school!" Rika-san said as she waved goodbye. I walked my way to school as I rode the escalator. The school grounds are sure big. I went in to the school building, I tried to avoid the stares as soon as possible. I just arrived at class and sat down on my seat as I laid my bag on my desk. Gao and his friends were there. Then a boy just came into class and shouted. "Hey everyone! The first period is going to be a free study period!" Everyone cheered. "We're so lucky! Let's play Buddyfight, Bal!" Gao said. "Bal wants to fight the strongest one, bal!" "But the strongest Buddyfighter in this class is Gao." Kuguru said. "What? Gao is the strongest? You mean he's the luckiest. The ones who's really the strongest... Is me! Kodo Noboru!" Noboru said. "Kitten shirt!" "It's a tiger! Now, let's get started! Show me your deck!" Noboru said. "....What's a deck, bal?" Bal asked cluelessly. "You don't even know what a deck is, and you want to Buddyfight?" Noboru asked. "I don't need to know that to play, bal!" Bal said. "That's ridiculous! You can't Buddyfight without a deck!" Noboru yelled. Bal's expression became shocked. "I'll teach you what a deck is!" Noboru said. He started explaining the whole thing to Bal. I sighed, I got out my stationery and started studying. After a few minutes I finished all of my assignments then I saw Bal and Noboru buddyfighting. I knew that something bad is going to happen so I stood up and went outside of class.

I was wandering around the halls and that is when I saw a classroom with a piano. I touched the piano with my fingers, I felt a warm sensation in me. I sat down on the stool then my fingers started to move on it's own.

I placed my fingers onto the chords and closed my eyes as I began to play the piano.

While I was playing, my hair was glowing, this was completely new to me. I never knew that my hair actually glowed. Maybe it's because of the sunlight.

(???'s Pov)

I was walking around and that is when I heard someone playing the piano. I looked inside and that is when I saw a girl with glowing silver hair playing the piano. I was stunned by her skills, it was beau- I mean it was shocking. Then it looks like she noticed my prescence so I went behind the walls. I then looked inside, she put on her cap on and was about to leave out to the door. I went back behind the walls as she walked out the room. "Ikuzo, Abygale." I smirked and went into a different direction.

Hibiki's Pov

Then I felt like someone's watching me. So I stopped playing, and looked around. My eyes landed on the clock. "I should get going..." I thought as I put on my cap on. I saw a few people talking about that a little Dragon named Bal has challenged Tasuku to a buddyfight. I was curious what kind of strength does he has.
I walked to the stadium as I saw Gao and Bal buddyfighting with a boy with light blue hair and red eyes. I think his name was Tasuku. "U-U-Unbelievable! The great Ryuenji Tasuku-sama has transferred to our very own Aibo Gakuen's junior high school division! And! On his first day at our school, he's going to show us his fighting skills! And his opponent is... Gao's new Buddy! Dragon of the Sun, Bal Dragon!" "Why is Gao here, bal?" Bal asked Gao. "Because I'm your Buddy! Besides... Tasuku-senpai is my rival!" Gao said. "Gao's rival, bal? Now Bal is really getting fired up, bal! Bal?" Then an explosion occured in the audience's seat. "Whoopsy-daisy! And here I am! I've been sleeping beneath Aibo Gakuen for countless years... The monster who knows everything about Buddyfights! I, Ozon B, will be proving analysis, B! Currently on the lookout for a Buddy!" Ozon B said cooly. "Bal! When you fight on a stage like this, you luminize your deck." Gao said. "Bal knows that, bal! Rise, sun! Burn, sun! Luminize! Scorching Sun Dragon, bal!" "Shine forth! Future dragons clad in stars! Luminize, Cross Dragoner!" "Buddy...Fight!"
