Chapter 17: Bruises and Wounds

"We need to talk, Xander."

Chelsea is standing in front of them while crossing her arms. The woman was trying to appeal intimidating but her husband didn't even show any emotions. 

"We have nothing to talk about, Chelsea. My wife and I are tired so if you'll excuse us, we need some rest. You know your way out." Kalmadong sabi ng kanyang asawa at nagsimula na itong lumakad patungo sa hagdan habang hila hila ang kanyang kamay.            

" I am your fiancee, Xander! I don't deserve this shit!"

" You should have thought about that before you slept with my cousin, Chelsea!" Dumadagundong na sabi ng kanyang asawa na pati siya ay napaigtad sa lakas ng boses nito. He was looking at Chelsea with contempt and anger. She had never seen this look of Quinn before. He's always the calm and composed one. He gripped her hands tightly, her hands almost turned white. Napakagat siya ng labi sa sakit but she tried to mask her pain. Ipinatong niya ang isang kamay niya sa magkasalikop nilang kamay and pressed his hand gently, trying to soothe him. Naramdaman niyang lumuwag ang pagkakahawak nito sa kanya at saka nagrelax ang katawan nito.

Napatingin siya kay Chelsea at kitang kita niya ang pagdaan ng sakit sa mga mata nito but the woman tried to appear calm.

"It was a mistake and I was drunk, okay? I didn't even know how we ended--"

"I don't want any of your explanation Chelsea! Just get out of my house!"

Chelsea's on the verge of crying but she tried to stop her emotions. Taas noo itong tumingin sa mga mata ni Quinn and spoke calmly.

"You know me better than them, Alexander. I love you and you know damn well that I don't go around and fuck random guys--"

"That's the point Chelsea, I don't know you at all." Matabang na sabi ni Quinn.

"Please, Xander. Just hear me out." Sumamo nang babae at unti unting naglakad sa direksyon nila but suddenly stopped in her tracks when Quinn held his hand in the air. There were tears in her eyes now and Cameron saw something flickered on Quinn's eyes. Naguguluhan ito sa mga pangyayari.

"Xander, please. I know you still love me.. I know you're trying to get back at me. Tatanggapin ko ang lahat just...just take me back.."

Cameron doesn't  know what to do. Naaawa siya sa babae kahit pa may saltik ang ugali nito, alam niyang mahal na mahal nito ang kanyang asawa. She saw the pain on Chelsea's eyes and you cannot just fake that.

"Go home, Chelsea. We're done. Just please go."

Tumalikod na ang kanyang asawa at saka hinila siya paakyat nang hagdan. She took a glance at Chelsea and she saw how broken the woman is. She heard her silent sob and something inside her twisted. She cannot help but feel sorry for her. Nakita niyang lumabas ito nang pintuan matapos makalma nito ang sarili. She went out of the house without looking back at them. Cameron sighed at sinabayan sa paglalakad ang asawa.

Agad na isinara ni Quinn ang pinto ng kanilang silid at isinandal siya sa hamba ng pinto at siniil ng halik. It was harsh na parang magdudugo na ang labi niya. And one of his hands is digging on her hips. She's sure it'll leave a bruise there tomorrow but she doesn't care. He's in pain and she wants to take away that pain. Napayakap nalang siya dito and kissed him back with equal fire. Nalalasahan na niya ang dugo na nagmumula sa kanyang labi but she doesn't care. He needed this.

His hands were all over her body now and she felt the fire burning inside her. She moaned his name when he felt his hand under her shirt, nipping the skin on the side of her boob. 

His lips went up to her ears, gently nipping her earlobe. "I need you." He whispered huskily and he felt his hand went under her skirt, grazing the inside of her thighs. She just nodded and hook her legs on his hip. She knew his husband was in pain. She may not be able to take away the pain but she's willing to take the half of it. She's willing to give her whole to help him ease the pain.
