I never meant to have the vampires meet the hunters.
I mean, what person in their right mind would let that happen?
The answer is no one.
NO ONE.

Except me.
Because I'm an idiot who doesn't plan shit through.
And also because I never expected vampires to pop up at the hunter's house.

I was sprawled out on the couch in the living room about a week after meeting the two, dressed in adidas sweat shorts and a baggy t-shirt.
I was alone, Vanessa and Eric having gone on patrol while Leah and Thomas decided to go clubbing.

I was almost falling asleep, still trying to focus on Seinfeld reruns when there was a knock at the door.
I groaned and slowly got up, walking over to the door.
"Thomas, did you leave your key or something?" I asked, half awake as I opened the door and yawned. Without looking at who I was talking to, I rubbed my eyes and yawned again. "Just come in already. There's a good episode on."

Someone walked past me into the house.

As I began to focus more, I noticed that someone else had walked in.
Neither of the two people standing in the house were Thomas or Leah.

Kierra observed me with an amused smirk, her brother doing the same.
"You look like shit." The boy chuckled.
I stared at them.
"You're not Thomas or Leah."
"No." Kierra smirked more, interrupting her brother as he opened his mouth to speak. "I'm better."
The 'other one' just rolled his eyes, probably irritated that he missed out on his chance to make a sassy comment.
He smirked once more and I concluded he had many more in store for me.
Joy.

I looked at Kierra. "You're okay to stay, but can you make him leave?" I asked.
She shrugged. "He pretty much does what he wants."
"And who I want." He added with a smirk, glancing at me.
Wow. Could this guy get any more irritating?
"Yes." Kierra answered.
I opened my mouth to ask how she knew what I was thinking and she rolled her eyes. "Telepathy."
"Oh. Right." I nodded.

"Aren't you a hunter?" She questioned. "You should know that." She stated nonchalantly, observing her nails.
"I do know that." I said defensively, trying to keep my irritation down to a happy medium. "I just forget someti-why're you here?" I asked suddenly, desperate to find some reason to usher the two out of the house.

"I was bored so I thought I'd stop by for a little get together." Kierra grinned briefly, only to have her expression morph into something more irritated. "He decided to follow along." Her voice carried the familiar notes of annoyance as she tilted her head in her brother's direction.
"Oh, c'mon," he smirked. "You love me."
She deadpanned. "Oh. Sure." She said sarcastically.

As I watched the two vampires bicker amongst themselves, my overwhelming urge to get them the fuck out of the house only grew.
"Look, if you guys want to argue like a pair of old ladies, why don't you go to a cafe or something?" I questioned. "Get a hot beverage away from here? I think there's a Starbucks nearby." I suggested
"Oh, I DO have a slightly particular craving for stereotypical white girls." The "Other One" smirked. "Then again, I could settle for an angry blonde. I'm always in the mood for something fiery."

Well, diddly fucking damnit this guy seemed to have a talent for both pissing me off and freaking the shit out of me at the same time.

Naturally, I had the urge to say 'fight me'. But, I also wanted to tell him to, 'fuck off'.
"Fuck me." I snapped.

Both of the vampire stared at me, smirks gracing their features.

"That didn't come out the way I wanted it to, did it?" I asked.
"No." Kierra answered simply with a small chuckle as her brother smirked more.
"It came out the way I wanted it to." He commented.
