"Oh crap. I forgot about that." Joseph tapped the gas light a few times, what seemed to be out of habit more than anything else.
"Great. Just great." Bella put her hands on her hips, "I can't believe you forgot to get gas. God, you're an idiot Joseph."
"Look, you guys stay here, and I'll run to the gas station and pick up some gas. Here, take these," Joseph handed them a gun each, "Just in case."
Bella just rolled her eyes and took it. Margo, who had never really held a gun before, took it nervously.
"Let's just hope we don't have to use it." she muttered under her breath.

Beep. Beep.
Teresa leaned over to the side table where her phone lied.
Mum: Hey, Teresa, it's your father's birthday, where are you? Are you all right?
Teresa sighed. She wondered what she should reply with. The truth? Only half of the truth? Or a lie? Teresa knew which one she had to do, and although she knew she wouldn't like it, she had to say it.
Yeah mum, fine. I'm just in hospital, no big deal. Just had an accident yesterday, that's all. I'm fine, really, I am.
Teresa instantly fell back in her bed. Idiot. You are such an idiot. 'I'm just in hospital, mum, no big deal really.'
The phone buzzed again.
Oh my god. Teresa, stay put, I'm on my way.
Teresa shook her head. Her mum could really be a little annoying.
Well, duh. Where am I supposed to go?
Teresa suddenly found herself wondering what to do. If she told the truth, her parents would be horrified. But if she lied, how would she explain the gunshot wounds...?
Teresa suddenly knew what to do.

"God? What is taking him so long?" Bella whined.
Margo laughed, "Probably saw a hot chick on the way and took a break to harass her."
Bella looked over at Margo in a way that said 'seriously?' without speaking.
Margo just shrugged. "Hey, how 'bout we go and get a drink?"
"And how the hell are we going to do that?" Bella motioned towards the car.
"Well, let's just say it's a coincidence that Joseph's car broke down right across the road from a pub." Margo nodded in the direction towards the Midnight Club across the road.
"Fine. Let's go." Bella picked up her bag and started walking with Margo in tow.
The Midnight Club was what many would call a 'stink hole'. It smelled strongly of whisky and sweat. The music was loud and there were men hanging all around two strippers dancing on a pole. Others were dancing, it seemed like the perfect place to do so as well. The lighting was low, and a disco ball reflected spotlight onto every corner of the room. As Margo and Bella walked further into the club they noticed quite a few making out, or even getting a bit more serious.
"What should we do?" Bella cried out over the music.
"Let's get a drink, then decide." Margo replied, just as loud. Bella nodded and headed over towards the bar, pushing their way through the people.
When they had ordered, a man sitting next to them turned and smiled at them. There was something about his smile that made Bella feel like she'd seen him somewhere before.
"Well, hello ladies, you look a little too young to be in here." he greeted them with a gravely voice, that made Bella distrust him even more.
"Looks can be deceiving." was all Bella would say. "Come on Els, lets go chat in the bathroom."
Margo, who had forgotten about her code name momentarily, looked at Bella strangely. Then she realised what Bella was doing and nodded, "Okay, I need you to help me with my make up anyway Tyger, I think I smudged it."
They walked off into the bathroom, and there were two guys waiting there for them.
"Ew. This is the girls bathroom freaks. Get out." Margo snapped.
"Now why would we want to do that? Especially since you beautiful girls are in here. We just wanna have some fun..." the first man replied.
And before they could say anything, the guy from the bar cam up behind them. "Had a nice chat, ladies?"
Bella and Margo pulled out their guns, and Bella shot the first man in the leg, who winced then lunged for her with a knife in his hand. It struck her right in the shoulder and she cried out in pain. Margo also fired a bullet, but it only hit the man behind her in the hip, as he pushed her out of the way and cut her across the arm. The other man, he pulled out his gun and shot towards Bella, but missed, making it only skim past her waist. Suddenly, amidst the chaos, Joseph burst in. He had petrol bottle in one hand and a lighter in the other. He spilled a bit of petrol on the floor in a line front of the men. He quickly shouted at Bella and Margo to move as he lit the lighter and threw it on the floor behind him as he ran away with them.
The petrol immediately lit up. It created a wall in front of the thugs, and stopped them from following. Joseph and the girls took the opportunity to run back to the car. Joseph quickly filled the car and hopped in the car after the girls then put his foot down hard on the accelerator.
"Where are we going now?" Bella huffed as Joseph sped on.
"To the only hospital I know." Joseph replied.
"Wait, what about Teresa?" Margo asked groggily. The taste of blood in her mouth.
"We'll get to her when we get to her. Right now we need to fix ourselves up." Joseph answered.
"Fine." and with out another word, Bella fell into a deep and much needed sleep.
