"So tomorrow, huh?" Bella asked. Teresa was a Fugitive again, and it was a good thing. Bella needed as many allies as possible, but Teresa was more than an ally, she was a friend.
Teresa nodded."They said that if I don't do anything too exciting today, I should be fit to go tomorrow." Bella nodded in acknowledgement. Margo was currently getting snacks from the vending machine, but Bella knew Margo well enough that Margo would be okay with picking Teresa up tomorrow.
Teresa broke through Bella's thoughts. "Hey, do you know why I might be congratulated?"
Bella gave her a strange look. "I dunno. Maybe for not dying?"
"Huh. So is it normal for a seventeen year old to get shot on her seventeenth birthday and die?" Teresa asked somewhat sarcastically, but there was a serious meaning behind it that Bella couldn't pick up.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean the person who congratulated me was a nurse, and as she was walking out she said: 'gosh, it's happening more and more these days at your age', or something like that anyway." Teresa explained, and eyes looked up expectantly at Bella, who had no idea what so ever of what the nurse was going on about.
When the look of confusion on Bella's face reached Teresa, Teresa sighed and shook her head in a 'never mind' kind of way. A nurse walked in then and explained that she should leave, saying that it would be best if Teresa got some rest. Bella nodded and followed the nurse out of the room.
"Excuse me," Bella asked, tapping the nurse's shoulder.
"Yes?" The nurse replied sweetly.
"Um, my friend, the one in there, what were you congratulating her for?" Bella asked, trying not to sound suspicious or demanding.
"Well, I think that would be her news to tell you. But might I say, he is quite a handsome young man, she must be lucky." And with that the nurse walked off and began speaking to the doctor. This only made things more confusing. Bella decided to push it to the back of her mind, and went to look for Margo, who she found yelling at the vending machine.
"Come on! How hard is it to just give me a packet of chips! I paid, dammit!"
Bella laughed. "I don't think it can understand you."
Margo looked up and smiled. "Well, maybe it can, and you just insulted it by saying it can't."
"And swearing at it doesn't insult it? Huh. What a world." Bella smiled, and Margo stuck her tongue out then popped it quickly back in. "Come on, let's go, I'll buy you something from a café or something if you're hungry."
"But..." Margo began, but Bella had already grabbed Margo's wrist and was dragging her on behind her.

"Come on, we gotta go." Matt said, offering Teresa a hand to help her up. Teresa hesitated.
Matt sighed. "Look, I'm only picking you up because I'm being paid. Don't think it's out of the goodness if my heart, cause it ain't. I have better things to do with my time."
"So do I. Plus, I was just going to catch a bus then walk the rest of the way." Teresa replied, slowly giving him her hand and letting him pull her up.
"Yeah well, now you don't have too. Besides, I'm not taking you back. They told me to drop you off at this old café place. They said they may be a little late, but they'll meet you there." Matt replied. There was something about this that Teresa didn't like, but she said nothing.
Teresa suddenly realised why Margo had a liking towards Matt. He was quite a handsome young man, with his bright blue eyes and pale olive skin. He was quite muscular, especially for someone his age. Teresa smiled inwardly. Margo always went for the good-looking ones. But she wasn't stupid either, she knew when a guy was a jerk and when they weren't. If there was one thing about Margo, it was that she didn't take any shit from anybody.
"Stop staring at me." Matt said, interrupting Teresa's thoughts, "I know I'm hot and a lot of girls admire me, but I'm not interested in you."
Teresa snorted. "And you think I'm interested in you? Pfft. Dream on, mate, dream on. " Teresa paused, "Besides, I was thinking about someone else who likes you, and I was only looking at you to see why. To be honest, I think she has no taste from what I'm seeing."
Matt snorted now. "Sure, whatever you say, brainiac, what ever you say."

It had been quite a drive and a lot of arguing between Teresa and Matt before they finally arrived at 'this old café place'. Matt hadn't been lying when he said it was an old cafè. It looked more like a worn out old house more than a café actually.
"Well, this is where I leave you, have a nice day." Matt said, waving her off.
"Gee, thanks. Hey can I borrow a ten?" Teresa asked, holding her hand out.
"Why?"
"It's a café right? There is bound to be some food and I'm starving." Teresa explained and Matt sighed. He muttered a 'fine' and opened his wallet, pulling out a ten dollar note.
Teresa smiled like a little girl would when she got what she wanted. "Thank you!" And with that she shut the door, stepped back and waved. Matt rolled his eyes and left.
Teresa walked towards the café and opened the door. A little bell tinkled, signalling her arrival. There was only three other people in the café one of them had a dark hood on and was sitting in the back corner of the room with a drink on the table. His face was well hidden by his hood and Teresa decided it would be best if she stayed well away from him. The other two people were working behind the counter, one at the order station, the other in the kitchen.
Teresa stepped up to the counter. "Do you happen to sell milkshakes? And muffins too?"
"Yeah, we do vanilla or chocolate milkshakes and we do a chocolate chip muffin, would you like that?" The man behind the counter said with a gravelly voice.
"Ah, yes, I'd like a chocolate milkshake thank you." Teresa answered and the man nodded, telling her the price and Teresa paid it silently with a silent thanks.
She sat down as far as possible from the man sitting in the back corner. About ten minutes later, the man from the counter came over to Teresa and placed her order down. Teresa said thank you again and took a sip of her milkshake. It tasted like dirt mixed with milk. She reluctantly swallowed it and took -or tried to- a bite of her muffin, which was burnt and as hard as a rock. Suddenly she didn't have an appetite any more.
Laughter came from the back of the room, and Teresa turned to see it was the hooded man.
"Ah you always were so picky about your food, Teresa." He lifted his hood and the face beneath it terrified her.
It was Carlo.
"So, my dear fiancé, I see you've decided to come to the wedding after all."
Teresa stepped back towards the door when she bumped into someone. Two someones. She looked over her shoulder to see the two men that were behind the counter.
Suddenly Teresa realised she had walked into a trap.
Carlo saw the look of realisation on Teresa's face and smiled.
"Yes my darling, a trap set just for you."

Margo and Bella stood outside the hospital.
"I hate coming here," Bella said, braking the silence. "I always think that it's not the best place to be when you're supposed to be hiding."
Margo just rolled her eyes. "Come on, miss worry-wart lets just go in, get Teresa and walk out."
"Worry-wart?" Bella asked.
Margo just shrugged and walked in towards the registration desk.
"Hi, can we see Teresa Villa?" Margo asked. The lady behind the desk began to search up things on her computer. When she was done she shook her head. "Teresa is no longer in our care. She left this morning."
"Oh okay, thank you." Margo said, backing away towards Bella.
"Well?" Bella asked impatiently.
"Did Joseph pick Teresa up already?" Margo asked.
"No," Bella answered looking concerned.
"Well she wouldn't have left by herself without saying something would she?"
Margo was also displaying concern on her face now and it grew as Bella shook her head in answer.
"So... Where is she then?"
All Bella could do was shrug.
