Aomine x Reader

Aye! I know I haven't really been active but my summer is almost here so I will be able to work one one shots more than school work! It'll be fun to write more as I do miss it! I hope you enjoy the one shot!

Reader POV

Since Aomine got a better score on the ( best subject) than me he wanted to go on a date. Which I was fine, but I don't know where we are going. He said to dress comfortable as we will walk and possibly run the whole day. Well he did say we were going to run so maybe just shorts and a T-shirt? No, I don't want to look under dressed or overdressed. I sat down on my bed and started to think on possible outfits that would be alright to wear. I'm not the most up to date fashion person, I mean yeah I have the new Nike Kobe Elite Xl. That is the most up to date I am with fashion. I have a bunch of basketball shorts as I am on the girl team of Too Academy. Yeah I am the ace but it doesn't matter what title I have, what matters is how we play. I slap my cheeks as I thought, (Y/N)! Now is not the time to think about basketball! I look through my clothes and sigh, maybe I should just wear my Nike with shorts and put on a T-shirt. I get my clothes together with a (F/C) T-shirt, (C/N) shorts, and my Nike. Once I am dressed I get my bag and put water, money, extra clothes, and other things we may need during the date. I looked at my phone and saw that I only had five minutes to get to the park, where I have to meet him! Shoot! I run through the door and ran the rest of the way to the park.

Aomine POV

I arrived at the parked just in time when I said I'd meet (Y/N). I stand around looking for her to see if she stood me up or gave up on me. I walked around a bit more and saw an ice cream vendor. I went up and bought a (F/F) flavored ice cream. I went to sit down on the nearby bench right when I saw (Y/N) jogging her way over to me. I stand up and wave to her. She comes to me and leans on her knees catching her breath. I laughed and said," Wow you're late for the first time ever (Y/N)." She looked up and said," Oh shut it Aho." She gets up and looks at the ice cream. I hand it to her but I look away not wanting her to see my face that is bright red. "Here you can have it since you ran all the way here." She takes and and says," Thanks Aomine." I nod and say," Call me Daiki." She nods and eats her ice cream while I wait for her to finish. Once she finishes I say," so you know that new amusement park that opened not to long ago?" She nods and I say," Well that is where we are going today, and you might want to wipe off that ice cream off your face too." She immediately puts her hand on her mouth and wipes the ice cream off. I laugh as I got up and she hit my arm to say," Come on Daiki let's go or we won't have time to go around." I smile and took her hand ignoring her objections and walked our way to the amusement park.

Reader POV

We walked to the amusement park since it was close by and it was a nice walk. I felt kinda flustered when he held my hand but I got used to it. Once we reached it and entered I felt like a kid again. My face lit up and I ran over to the first roller coaster I saw. I turn to Daiki and said," Let's go on this one Daiki!" He laughed and we went into the line.

~Time Skip~

After we rode all the rides we went over to the games. There was a basketball game and the prize for shooting all the basketballs into the hoop is a giant stuffed toy (F/A). It was super cute but I knew I couldn't win that game. I looked away and went to walk on ahead but I felt someone grab my wrist. I look to see Daiki staring at the same stuffed (F/A) as I was. " (F/N) I am going to play the basketball game." I was a bit shocked but then grabbed his hand and said," I-its okay Daiki! I can live without it! You should save your money." He ruffled my head and said," Its okay. The game is easy anyway." He dragged me over back to the basketball stall and paid for the game. Of course he shot all the basketballs in with no problem. " Well done sir! What prize do you want?" Daiki pointed at the giant stuffed (F/A). The women nodded her head and handed him the toy. Once Daiki got the toy he handed it to me. I felt myself go a little red a buried my face into the stuff toy and said," T- thanks Daiki!" He laughed and ruffled my hair again. "Oh you two are so cute! I know you guys will last!" I heard the stall women say. I blushed harder and thanked her. Once we reached a bench I sat down tired from all the walking. "Why don't you save our spot and I could get our food?" Daiki suggested. I nodded and said," Yeah food seems like a good idea right now." He then turned to go and find food as I rested my feet from all the walking.

Aomine POV

When I was walking back from getting food I saw (Y/N) sitting on the bench hugging the stuffed toy (F/A). How cute. I thought and walked over to her and sat beside her. "Here you go." I handed her a (F/F) as she took it and started to eat. I smiled as I unwrapped my hamburger and started to eat too. Once I finished I saw (Y/N) staring at me. I scooted back a bit and said," W-what is it?" She laughed and took out a napkin and dabbed it on my cheek. I blushed as she said," You have mayo on your face!" I snatch the napkin away from her and said," You could have said something!" She laughed harder and said," Sorry I couldn't help it!" By this point she was laughing so hard she was crying. My cheeks were on fire by this point so I turn the other way and drank my soda. "Aww is Daiki embarrassed~." I look at her and say," N-no!" She laughed harder and then she finally stopped while trying to catch her breath. I threw away our trash in the trashcan and we got up and started to walk around again. I looked at (Y/N) and asked." So do you want to ride one more ride before going?" She looked around and said," Let's go onto the Ferris wheel!" She took my hand and ran to the line. I smiled at her giddiness and went along. Once we went inside the Ferris wheel we sat down and (Y/N) started to take pictures of the view. I smiled as I saw her so happy having fun. Suddenly the Ferris wheel stopped when we reached the top. Then the intercom came on saying, We are sorry to interrupt, but we are having technical difficulties. Please stay seated we will get you down as soon as possible. I look to (Y/N) to see her still taking pictures of the view. " Daiki why aren't we moving?" I looked at (Y/N)'s face as it got a little pale. I panicked a bit and said," Well they are having technical difficulties so we have to stay here for a while." She nodded and started to shake a bit. I sighed and went over to sit beside her. She looked at me confused and said," Daiki what are you-" Before she could finish her sentence I pulled her into my chest and said," I-its fine. We-we're okay." She nodded and wrapped her arms around me as she stayed in my chest. I could feel a few tears on my shirt but I didn't mind. I then checked my watch and noticed that the fireworks would be coming on soon. I tapped (Y/N)'s head and said," The fireworks are coming on." She looked out the window but kept her arms around me. The first firework went off and the others followed. I smiled as (Y/N) loosened her grip and looked out the window. She started to laugh and smile while watching the fireworks. I have to do it. I was thankful that it was dark and right before the grand finale I placed my hand on (Y/N)'s cheeks and said," I-I love y-y-you." and kissed her as the rest of the fireworks went off. When we pulled apart the Ferris wheel started to move again and (Y/N)'s face bright red said," I-I love you t-t-too D-Daiki." I laughed as I hugged her again not wanting to let go.
