Reader POV

Sitting in the classroom I knew this was probably a mistake. I glanced back into my bag and saw the chocolates I made last night and stayed up to make. I lay my head down on my desk and looked to the seat next to me, and it was empty. Of course, it's Valentine's Day after all. He would be surrounded by girls all day today. I've liked Ryota since the second year, and now we're third years. I knew about him since the third year of elementary but only saw him as another pretty face. The only time we talked was always school related.Last year he joined the basketball team, and we started to talk more. We became close and he even became my rock.

"No! Take mine Kise-sama!"

"You're meant to be with me Kise-sama! Please accept my feelings!"

I didn't even have to move my head to know Ryota has entered the room. I picked my head up and saw him surrounded by girls. He saw me and walked over to me, "(Y/N)cchi! Have you given chocolates yet?" I smiled and said, "Not yet." I took a deep breath and mumbled, " And I may never get to." He sat next to me and said, "What was that?" I waved him off and the girls came up to him again.

"Kise-sama, can you eat with us?"

"Yeah! I would love it if you could Kise-sama!"

He shook his head and threw his arm around my shoulders. "Sorry, I'm already eating with (Y/N)cchi!" They whined but went off. Well, before they went off they stared daggers at me. "Ryota, are you sure you would want to eat with me today? Don't you have a girlfriend already?" He shook his head and said, "Well not yet-" He was cut off by the teacher who came into the room and said, "Everyone! Settle down, you can resume during lunch. But right now we have to get onto math!" Everyone sat down and the teacher surveyed the room but kept her focus on us. "Kise-san, would you mind taking your arm off (L/N)-san?" He jumped back a bit and took his arm off. "Sorry Sensei!" She nodded and went back to the lesson. I took out my notebook for notes but noticed the glares sent to me have intensified. I shook them off and tried to focus on the lesson, should I even try to give it to him?

Kise POV

Lunch time came around and I dragged (Y/N)cchi to the park with me. I've had eyes on her since I first saw her. I remember I would always get so nervous around her I couldn't even speak right. She was the only person I couldn't talk to. Things got better as the years went by and the only time we talked were school related. Sure I loved talking to her, but I didn't want to keep my focus on school. I wanted to know more about her, what she liked what she hated. It was only until last year that we talked about something besides school. She confided in me a lot and I really enjoyed it. Even if it was about her boyfriend, which eventually left. If it wasn't for her I would've beaten him to a pulp. "Ryota, are you there?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at her. I smiled and said, "Of course (Y/N)cchi!" She shook her head and said, "Ryota, I know something is on your mind. You can tell me if you want to." I smile. (Y/N)cchi never fails to surprise me, she is totally unpredictable and I love her for that. I looked into her eyes and she looked at mine. We stayed like this for a bit until she turned to her bag. Confused, I tried to look and she pushed me back. "Stop looking Ryota! Just wait and I'll show it to you." I leaned back and she slowly pulled out a bag of chocolates. My heart pounded as she said, "L-look Ryota. I've liked you since you came onto the team. And these chocolates are pretty bad since I made them myself-" I didn't give her enough time to finish her sentence as I pulled her in and hugged her tightly. I buried my face into the crook of her neck and said, "I love you (Y/N)cchi ."

Okay, so I plan to finish all the Valentin's Day one-shots by the end of this week! Let's just hope I can keep that promise....
