Valentine's Day~

Reader POV

"Okay guys, I don't know what is up but it has got to stop." I could feel their stares on me as I turn to put away the bottles and towels. Ryouta gave out a little whine and said,"But (Y/N)-cchi! Don't you know what next week is?" I stood there thinking but gave up. "No, care to enlighten me Ryouta?" Before he could open his mouth Daiki "stretched" and smacked him in the face. "AOMINE-CCHI! I KNOW THAT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT." He shrugged and said, "Well you should've moved." Instantly, these two got into a fight. Shintaro shook his head obviously annoyed and Tetsuya was trying to get them to stop, only to be ignored. I rubbed my temples and before I could say anything I heard Seijuro say, "Stop it." This made them stop and settle back down. I sighed and said, "Thank you Seijuro. But can someone please tell me what is going on. I'm pretty sure none of your birthdays is next week, so what's the special occasion?" Atsushi munched on his snacks but said, " (Y/N)-chin, next week is Valentine's day." I stood still and let it skin in. Everyone was quiet and I said, "Oh! I totally forgot about that..." I trailed off and thought about who I was going to give chocolates too. " We won't pressure you into anything (L/N)-san." I smiled at Tetsuya thankful for the input. "Yeah, thanks, Tetsuya." We all stayed still for a bit longer and I said, "Well, who wants to go with me to the convenience store? I'm pretty hungry." Everyone stood up. I smiled and said, "Alrighty then. The more the merrier!" We all walked out and talked as we normally would. We went inside and I let myself wander into the (F/F) aisle. "(Y/N)? Is this where you ended up?" I turn and saw (B/N) with a group of girls behind her. I face her and said, "What do you mean ended up? My position is perfectly fine." She scoffed and said, "Have you looked in the mirror? Your body, especially your face, has collected so much fat! And I didn't even know someone could get sooo ugly!" I felt my hands curl into a fist but something stopped me. "Leave." "And look who's talking." "Please take that back." "You're the pathetic one nanodayo." "No one can say that to (Y/N)-chin." "Say that again?" I turn behind me and see Sei, Tetsuya, Ryota, Aomine, Shintaro, and Atsushi behind me. The girls backed up a bit but (B/N) glared at me and said, "You are making all these pretty boys do all your dirty work (Y/N)? How pathetic." I stare straight at her and said, "I'm not making them do anything. Don't you remember how you had to beg around for attention? I see you still do that too, and your face doesn't look better with all that makeup. If you can consider that makeup." I could see her face turn red and she turned and walked away. Her group followed and they were gone. I turned to them and smiled, "Thanks, guys." They smiled and I said, " I'll just buy a box of popsicles so we can all have one!" I walked to the ice creams and picked up a box and went to the chocolate section. I carefully selected the chocolate to make later and I went to pay for it. We ate the popsicles and made our way home. The walk was just as lively as it has been. I came up to my house and said, "Hey this is my house I'll get going." We said our goodbyes, but there was one person I held onto a little longer. I let them go and walked into my house. I dropped my bag and I saw the note on the kitchen counter.

On a business trip to America. We should be back in a month at the earliest, the money is in the envelope.

I pick up the envelope and see a month's worth of groceries were in it. I put the money in the bag and cleared the kitchen. I pulled out the chocolate and a recipe. Oh boy, this is going to be a long night. 

~ Time Skip to morning ~

I clean the last of the dishes and saw the sun coming up. My god that took longer than I expected. I went up and took a quick shower. I changed back into my uniform and went downstairs. I grabbed the small box of chocolates and slipped them into my bag. I went out the door and my heartbeat started going faster as I approached the school. I guess today's the day I confess to him.
