Yoongi's dreams that night weren't so pure. Thoughts of Jimin consumed him and he wondered if they would ever go away. He already knew the answer, that, no they wouldn't go away until he either got what he wanted or lost connection with the red head.
However, he was still reluctant to fight the thoughts. Jimin was hot, and he wanted him. In certain ways.
So he made sure he dressed to impress that morning when he got up before heading to the studio. He took extra time in the shower and made sure that he smelled nice. He wasn't sure what would happen that day, but if it was something related to the day before, he wouldn't mind it one bit.
And if they just danced like they said they would, he felt like he would be disappointed.
This attraction he had towards Jimin was just lust, and he began to wonder if he could ever like Jimin in a romantic way ever since his conversation with Jin.
He locked the door to his apartment and began the walk to the studio, hoping that he wouldn't arrive before Jimin did.
Which is exactly what ended up happening.
It was ten minutes passed the agreed meeting time and Yoongi was still waiting for Jimin in the room full of mirrors.
He hoped that he hadn't forgotten about their plans.
Yoongi messed around on his phone as he waited, texting Jin about how Jimin was late.
Jin was reassuring though, and he told him that there must be an excuse for why he was taking so long.
So when Jimin waltzed into the room thirty minutes later, Yoongi wasn't so offended.
"Hey." The blonde waved, getting up from his spot on the floor. Jimin had a panicked expression on his face.
"I'm sorry, I didn't sleep much last night and I woke up so late." Jimin shook his head, feeling ashamed of himself.
"It's fine." Yoongi shrugged it off, relating to this situation.
"Let me give you my number so that the next time this happens, I can tell you what's going on." Jimin said pulling out his phone.
"The next time this happens?" Yoongi questioned as he took his phone out. Jimin smirked, swiftly grasping the phone from his hand and typing his number in. Yoongi took his phone back and typed in the contact name writing, Booty Call.
He laughed at himself before quickly deleting it and typing Jimin's actual name. He sent him a text so that Jimin could save his number too.
Jimin quickly saved Yoongi's number and put his phone away before clapping his hands together. "Alright, let's dance."
"What have I gotten myself into." Yoongi sighs, also putting his phone away and walking to the center of the room where Jimin was heading.
He began teaching Yoongi step by step, but slowed it down ten times more than how he was going yesterday, and for this Yoongi was grateful. He could actually understand what he was supposed to do and got the jist of it at a faster pace.
Overall, he actually enjoyed it; especially the part when Jimin would raise his shirt and he got a good view of his abs.
At the end of their session, Yoongi was exhausted and thanked Jimin for teaching him the dance. Jimin dismissed it as if it were no big deal.
"I am an instructor, it's what I do." He shrugged.
"But still." Yoongi insisted. A grin began to grow on Jimin's face and Yoongi had to force himself to breathe.
"Well if you really want to thank me..." He paused, and many, many thoughts ran through Yoongi's head in that very moment. He felt his eyes widen. "You can come with me to get some food. I'm starving." Jimin stated, obviously knowing what Yoongi had been thinking, laughing at his reaction.
"Sure." Yoongi agreed, covering his face and grabbing his bag. The two left the studio and were deciding where they were going to go eat.
"I'm not sure, I just have places deliver. I don't go out much and I cook at home most of the time. I usually go to the cafe that Jin works at."
"Then let's go there." Jimin decided.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, why not?"
"True. Let's go then." Yoongi led the way to the cafe. Jin was right at the counter and watched as the two came in laughing at each other. He found himself smiling knowingly. Hoseok had no chance.
"Yoongi, Jimin, a pleasant surprise." Jin said as the they approached him.
"Just finished practice. I finally learned the dance." Yoongi groaned.
"He gets so annoyed if you don't let him understand a move before moving onto the next one. So difficult to work with." Jimin shook his head, chastising him.
"Hey, I'm older, have some respect."
"Age doesn't mean a thing when it comes to learning, 'hyung'."
"Actually just stick with calling me by my name." Yoongi cleared his throat. They had been talking about proper honorifics on the way over to the cafe.
"Why? Does 'hyung' bother you?"
"No, it's just that-"
"Hi, hello, I'm right here, and I have other customers to serve. So if you'll order something, that'd be nice." Jin cut him off, amused by the situation.
Yoongi paid for the sandwiches and drinks they ordered. They sat at a table near the window talking about whatever they felt like. The horrid getting to know each other stage, as Yoongi liked to call it.
He learned that Jimin had been dancing since he was very young and had always wanted to become a professional and even open up his own studio and whatnot. He was close, but not quite there. The studio he taught in was not his own and he was far from a professional. He was still in college. His major goal was to choreograph for famous groups and singers not only in Korea but maybe even the US.
Yoongi found all of this fascinating and it made him wonder what the actual fuck he was doing with his life. He didn't have big life goals, he just wanted to live comfortably and have fun. He had an okay job at some store that sold everything for $10 or less. He never considered anything bigger, but he did have a strong passion for music and could relate to Jimin.
The "date" ended quicker than expected since time flew by as the two had been talking. They said their goodbyes and Jimin even offered to walk Yoongi home to which he declined. They departed opposite directions.
When Yoongi got home, he immediately went to his room to take a nap. He threw himself onto his bed and was about to close his eyes when he heard a notification go off from his phone.
It was a text from Jimin.
Jimin: You know, it's your fault that I couldn't sleep last night, what are you going to do about it? (; *attached image*
Yoongi sucked in a sharp breath and braced himself before unlocking his phone to look at the message.
