Yoongi was beginning to fall asleep. He was wrapped in Jimin's arms on the couch, still watching tv. He was trying not to think so much, but that was really hard not to do considering the fact that he didn't know how he felt. Well of course he knew how he felt, but he didn't know how he felt about that feeling if that made any type of sense.
Jimin smiled as he watched Yoongi's eyes flutter open and shut whenever he would try to fight the sleep. His head was against his chest as he played with his hair, the other arm around his waist. To say that Jimin was happy was an understatement.
He still couldn't recall the exact moment he actually started to have feelings for Yoongi, after all, it started with sexual attraction. But that didn't matter, what mattered is that he now knew for a fact that he wasn't the only one experiencing these feelings and that Yoongi felt the same despite his attempts to deny it. He knew Hoseok was the one holding him back, and he wondered if he should talk to him about it– but he didn't want to ruin a friendship and knew that Yoongi would have to be the one to do it. He could only imagine how guilty Yoongi was feeling, especially after what just happened hours beforehand. He knew how Hoseok was, Yoongi had told him once before. He wasn't going to let Hoseok come between them, yet he didn't want himself to come between their friendship either. It was a pretty difficult situation, and he couldn't blame Yoongi for putting it off this long.
"Do you want to go to bed?" Jimin asked once Yoongi's eyes opened again.
He hummed in response. "I'm comfortable." He mumbled.
"You'll be more comfortable on the bed."
"I'm just fine here."
"C'mon." Jimin grabbed the remote, shutting the tv off before picking Yoongi up off the couch.
His eyes widened as he felt himself lift into the air, immediately clinging onto Jimin. "I am perfectly capable of walking there myself." He huffed.
"Yeah, but you're cute and sleepy and I just wanted to carry you, problem?"
"You're annoying."
"I know." He grinned and carried the older over to his room, setting him down on the bed. The blankets were clean now and he had put them on a couple hours before. Jimin got into bed next to him, slipping under the blanket and wrapping his arms around Yoongi once again, wanting to be close. Yoongi sighed heavily. Jimin chuckled. "Do you not like sleeping like this?" He asked, ready to move away. He knew Yoongi worshipped sleep to an extent. Or maybe he just didn't want him that close with the whole situation.
"No, I do." With those words, Jimin just held him closer, giving him a small squeeze and hiding his face in the nape of his neck. It didn't take much longer for Yoongi to pass out, soft snores leaving his mouth, Jimin right after.
-----
It was eleven in the morning when there was a knock at the door. Yoongi groaned, pulling the blanket over his head. That's when he felt Jimin's arms unwrap from around him and he was once again reminded of where he was.
"I really wish my friends would drop a call before they decide to show up." Jimin sighed, his voice groggy as he got out of bed.
"Tell me about it." Yoongi peeked out the blanket to see a messy haired Jimin at the doorway.
"I won't let whoever it is know you're here, so go back to sleep." He shut the door behind him. Yoongi instantly shut his eyes again.
Jimin checked the peephole to see that it was a very anxious looking Taehyung. He quickly opened the door and the boy immediately stepped in, pacing back and forth.
"I did something bad." He rushed out, running a hand through his hair before stopping and looking towards Jimin.
"What seems to be the problem?"
"Hoseok." He shook his head before touching his lips.
"Hoseok?" Jimin asked, shutting the door and walking into the kitchen, Tae following after him.
"We kissed."
"You kissed him? Or he kissed you?" Jimin began to make coffee, glancing back at his friend every so often.
"I kissed him." Tae dragged his hands down his face, groaning.
"Oh?" Jimin cracked a smile.
"I know!"
"Why?"
"It was the heat of the moment, I swear."
"Do tell."
"We went to the movies together, well not just us two– Seokjin, Namjoon and Jungkook went too. A couple hours later after we all go home, he calls me and he sounds really stressed so I ask him what's wrong. He asks if he could see me and so I tell him a place and we meet there. He starts telling me about how horrible he feels about his reputation but how he doesn't think he can change, even his own best friends don't think he can either. And as I was listening to it all, I thought, wow he's actually a human being with emotions and then I just kind of kissed him." Tae explained, sitting down at the dining room table and putting his head down.
"And why's that a bad thing?" Jimin questioned, his cup of coffee in hand as he leaned against the kitchen counter looking at Tae.
"Because!"
Jimin paused for a moment, waiting for any upcoming words. When Tae didn't continue, he took a sip of his coffee and sighed. "Because...?"
"What if he's trying to play me too?" Tae mumbled.
"Hm, it doesn't seem that way." Jimin recalled the night Hoseok showed up to Yoongi's apartment, drunk.
"But how do you know?" He exasperated, fidgeting around with his fingers.
"What did he do after you kissed him?"
Tae thought about it for a bit. "He pulled away and apologized."
"He apologized? Even though you were the one that kissed him?"
"Yeah."
"And he didn't try to do anything else after that?"
"No."
"Then that, my dear friend, is your answer."
