"You know, I try to put my best effort into everything." Hoseok says, swigging a bottle of soju after he had already downed 3 shots of vodka. He placed the bottle down before pouring himself another shot, Yoongi trying to stop him in the process but failing. "To Uncle Melchor!" He slurred before drinking it.

"Who's uncle Melchor?" Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows.

"I don't know." Hoseok shrugged before starting to break into fits of laughter.

"You should stop drinking." Yoongi sighed as he watched his best friend pick up the bottle of soju again. "You'll regret it when you wake up with the biggest hangover. You know you're a lightweight and mixing is never good for the stomach."

"I'll worry about that later." He said waving it off and taking another sip, squinting his eyes. "Why am I so problematic?"

"You're not that problematic Hoseok."

"I'm a sluuuuut." He whined, dragging out the vowel in the word.

"You just, have your own way of doing things. It may not be ideal or nice at all, but, we've accepted that. We'd like you to change that someday though. But you're still young."

"I'm trying. Really hard, you see, I even gave up on Jimin! Jimin of all people. That fucking god! He is so hot." He hiccuped. "But he didn't want me anyways so it's okay. I could tell from the very beginning." He pouted.

"Well when you put it that way–"

"I just got the brightest idea." He interrupted, a grin swallowing his face all of a sudden, allowing his dimples to make an appearance. "I'm going to date that cupcake boy, just you watch."

"Cupcake boy?" Yoongi questioned, unsure of who he was talking about.

"TaeTae~"

"You're going to date him? Do you even understand yourself right now?"

"Shhhhh, I've already made my decision. I won't just sleep with him. Yet... This time I'll actually try." Hoseok stated loudly as he struggled to take his phone out of his pocket before dialing Taehyung's number.

"Hoseok, you might not wanna do th– actually, you won't remember any of this. Go ahead." Yoongi said, deciding that he'll feel bad about being a terrible friend afterwards. It would be a funny story to tell him in the morning. Also, he knew Taehyung wouldn't be angry about it or anything considering the kind of person he was.

"I'll put it on speaker." Hoseok laughed before pressing the button, allowing the beeping noise of the awaiting call to fill the room. It was a couple rings later when Tae's voice could finally be heard.

"Hello?" He greeted, almost questionably. Yoongi couldn't blame him. Jin told Tae about Hoseok, so a call from him was probably not good.

"Hi TaeTae~!" It was painfully obvious that Hoseok was not in his right state of mind. Yoongi still had the chance to save his best friend, but he chose not to.

"Yes Hoseok?"

"That's not a very nice way to start a conversation." Hoseok frowned.

"Have you been drinking?"

"How'd you know?"

"Lucky guess?" Tae chuckled. "What's up? Something wrong?"

"Nothing at all actually, I just wanted to ask you something."

Yoongi didn't know how familiar the two were with each other, but they didn't seem like strangers.

"And that would be?"

"Go on a date with me." Hoseok blatantly responded.

"That wasn't a question." He laughed again.
