You lunged your sword at your training partner, Asleia, who easily countered the attack.

Asleia swept her long, silver-blonde braid over her shoulder, and swiped her sword at you feet.

You back-flipped and dodged her sword that had been swung at your head, barely getting your shield up in time.

You attacked her side with deadly speed, and knocked her to the ground. Asleia laughed.

"Great work, (Y/N)!" She said. You smiled at her as you set your sword and shield down, beginning to tend to the minor cuts on your arms and face.

You were used to it by now. It's what came with being training partners with Asleia.

Asleia put her weapons up, and stood in front of you.

"That was impressive, my friend." She smiled, "Definitely enough to receive a man's attention."

"I'm not looking for any man." You grunted as you wrapped a bandage around your hand. Asleia smirked.

"I believe that a certain God of mischief has his eyes on you..." She said teasingly. You blushed and scowled at her.

"Asleia, he's a son of Odin. He would not love a warrior such as myself." You said, rather sad since this was the truth.

Asleia shrugged.

"I must go now, my friend. I shall see you tomorrow." She said before she walked out the door, leaving you to a comfortable silence.

You were so busy tending to your wounds, that you didn't hear someone come in.

"You fought well today." A voice said. You jumped and drew your sword.

Loki stood there with his hands up in defense. You blushed lightly and put your sword away.

"M'lord Loki, I-I'm sorry, I didn't hear you come in." You stuttered. Loki gave you a apologetic smile.

"No, I'm sorry. I should know better than to startle one of Asgard's finest warriors." He said. You blushed even more.

"May I sit with you?" He asked. You nodded. He walked over and sat next to.

Loki noticed the cuts on your arm and his beautiful green eyes widened.

"It's alright, it's just a few scratches." You assured him. Loki shook his head and picked up the bandage.

"No, they aren't. Please, allow me." Loki said before gently wrapping the bandage around your arm. You winced at the stinging sensation that tingled through your senses.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Loki began, but you smiled and silenced him. He helped you dress the rest of your wounds.

"Just one more thing..." Loki said with a mischievous smirk. He leaned towards your face and kissed the small scar on your cheek.

You turned bright red, and looked away.

"By the way, I adore your battle scars." Loki said smiling. And with that, he left you in a stunned silence.

Was this real? No, it couldn't possibly be. Why would a prince, royalty, love you? But, nothing's impossible, you supposed...
