Cadenza's POV

"Vincent!" I exclaim, storming thru the hallways of the Lord's House in Meteli. "Y-Yes, Lady Cadenza?" Vincent asks, scrambling to his feet. "Cloud informed me about Laurance's condition. He told me that Vylad Ro'Meave informed him. Fetch me a horse to Phoenix Drop. Now." I command. Vincent nods, then runs off. I step outside, the brisk and crisp air of Meteli whipping my hair around. Vincent comes back into view with a chocolate brown horse. "Brownie!" I exclaim, walking to my horse. Vincent chuckles at the name I gave Brownie. I shoot Vincent a playful glare. He chuckles again, then hops onto his snow white and black spotted horse. I hoist myself onto Brownie. "Onward, Twister!" Vincent exclaims. I'm now the one chuckling. Vincent rolls his eyes, then we start our way to Phoenix Drop.

~At Phoenix Drop, Cadenza's POV

Once we enter the village, I'm given a quick greeting by Dante. I whiz past him. I hop off my horse, tie it to a rail, then rush to Aphmau. "Aphmau... Aphmau!" I exclaim impatiently. I burst into Lord Levin's house. Aphmau, Malachi and Levin are having a conversation. "Sorry to interrupt, but we need to talk." I state. Aphmau glances at her boys. They both nod, then Aphmau glances back at me, gets up and walks over. "What is it, Cadenza?" Aphmau asks as we walk out of the house. "I heard about Laurance." I state. Aphmau's expression softens as her body tenses. "Oh..." She trails off. "That was what Malachi, Levin and I were talking about when you walked in. Vylad said that he had to conquer it on his own tho. We were just planning on how to make things comfortable for when he comes back." Aphmau explains. I nod in response. "Who was the last person that saw him?" I ask. "Vylad. Vylad's been tracking him for the past few weeks; when it started. Vylad's been following Laurance to make sure he's safe." Aphmau informs. "Good, I would hate for him to have to be unobserved." I reply. Of course, it's stalkish, but it's for Laurance's own good. "Does Laurance know Vylad's there?" I question. "No, he doesn't. At least, of what I know, he doesn't." Aphmau replies. I stop walking, which also stops Aphmau from walking as well. I wrap Aphmau in a hug, "I've missed you." I mutter. Since I'm taller than her, I rest my chin on the top of her head. Once we release, Aphmau gives me a warm smile, "I missed you too." She confesses. Her and I smile at each other, then continue walking. A blonde hair boy rushes to us. "Aphmau... Aphmau..!" The man calls out. That voice... It's familiar.. Wait... "Garroth!?" I exclaim. The boy looks at me, his teal eyes shimmering from the setting sun. "C-Cadenza?" Garroth questions. I run to him, engulfing him in a hug. He replies with the hug immediately. "You've been gone for so many years, you idiot!" I exclaim as we release. I hit his chest playfully. Garroth chuckles. "What's going on?" Aphmau asks, confused. "While you were on your trips, Garroth would come to my house sometimes. We were actually really close when you were the Lord of Phoenix Drop." I inform. Aphmau nods, mouthing an 'Oh'. "Then, I'll leave you two be." Aphmau smiles, then walks off. Before Aphmau's out from out view, she turns around and wiggles her eyebrows. "Aphmau!" Garroth and I both exclaim in sync. Garroth's blushing. Aphmau giggles, then walks into Lord Levin's house. Garorth looks at me again, silence dropping over us. We're at the docks. I glance at the ocean, there being an orange reflection at the body of water. The sun, it setting, makes everything have a small orange glow. The sun reflects on my armor. "Why don't you take your armor off? Get comfortable." Garroth offers. I chuckle, "I can't." I reply. "Why not?" Garroth replies. I glance at him nervously, not wanting to tell him the reason. "You don't have clothes under your armor, do you?" Garroth assumes. I nod sheepishly. Garroth starts to laugh uncontrollably. Once he catches his breath, he leads me to where he stays. "Aphmau might have some clothes that you'll fit in." Garroth says. "I'm taller than her." I reply. "Zoey?" Garroth questions. I gasp, "Zoey's here? Where?" I ask. "She's at the island." Garroth states. "The island?" I mutter. "It's a new place that Aphmau now lives." He informs. I nod, understanding. "Come on, lets get you over there. It won't take long." Garroth leads me out of his house then takes me to this lake. Magick plates of different colors are laid out. "Lucinda..." I mutter, remembering what the old pads looked like back 15 years ago. I vaguely remember it, but it still stuck out like a sore thumb in my mind. "Did somebody say my name?" A familiar, smooth voice starts. "Lucinda?" I question, louder than before. She chuckles, "The one and only." Lucinda comes from the shadows of her house. She jumps over to us from pad to pad. Lucinda and I hug immediately. Once we release, Garroth leads us over the pads. "Are you going to the island?" Lucinda assumes. "Yep!" Garroth exclaims. He grabs my hand and pulls me thru the portal. I guess Lucinda didn't follow us because she never came thru the portal. I glance back at the portal and see Lucinda's watery figure. She waves at me, then disappears with a flash. I smile, then Garroth takes me out from the tree that the portal was in. He takes me thru the forest until we finally reach a small village. "C-Cadenza?" A voice says. I look at where the voice was coming from, but no one's there. My eyes trail down and I see a boy with dark blue hair and blue eyes. A girl stands by him in a pink kimono. She has light blue hair. Katelyn (which is a sight to see) walks up to them, putting her hands on their shoulders. "Dante's kids." Katelyn states. I gasp, "Who's the mother?" I ask. "The mothers actually." She says. "The mom of this little girl," Katelyn pats the head of the little meif'wa. I'm think it's Kawaii~Chan's, but I shouldn't assume things. "Her name is Nekoette. She's Kawaii~Chan's daughter." She answers. "Hello, Cadenza~Chan! Nekoette~Tan has heard so much about Cadenza~Chan!" Nekoette greets with a smile. I wave at her, "And this is Nicole's son, Dmitri." Katelyn introduces thru gritted teeth. I know she doesn't like the thought of Nicole and Dante. "Hey!" Dmitri exclaims. I wave at him as well. "Do you by chance know where Zoey is?" Garroth asks impatiently. "Zoey!" Katelyn exclaims. Zoey and a brunette girl come into sight. The brunette has a small baby resting in her arms. "Is that your baby?" I ask. The brunette shakes her head no, "It's Aphmau's." She replies. I gasp. "Aphmau never told me that she had a kid!" I yell. "Adopted." Zoey says. I nod. "I'm Isabelle and this is Lillith Garnet." Isabelle introduces herself and the small baby. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Cadenza." I reply. "You mean, Lord Cadenza of Meteli?" She questions. I nod. "I knew you looked familiar!" She exclaims. I giggle. "Zoey, can we borrow a change of clothes? Cadenza forgot to bring some." Garroth sounds more impatient than before. Katelyn runs off with Dmitri and Nekoette, a guy with snow white hair following shortly behind. "Heyyy, Katelyn." The guy with white hair greets. Sounds like a flirt. "Get away, Travis!" She snaps. His name is Travis, I guess. Travis groans, then continues to follow them. I shrug it off, then look at Isabelle. "Of course! This way." Zoey takes my hand. "Garroth, we'll bring her right back." Isabelle says. Garroth nods, then Zoey leads me away with Isabelle and Lillith. Once we get inside a house, Zoey sits me in a chair in front of a mirror. "One second." Zoey says. She runs off to her closet (I'm assuming). Zoey comes back a few minutes later with an outfit. "Comfortable and stylish!" Zoey exclaims. "It's Isabelle's." Zoey states. I giggle, then Zoey has me try on the clothes. She leaves me in the room alone. Once I change, I invite the girls in. Zoey and Isabelle gasp. "It's perfect!" They both say in sync. "Leave your armor here, now, lets go to Garroth!" Isabelle pulls me out. I guess Lillith is sleeping, since she's not with Isabelle or Zoey anymore. I meet Garroth by the docks. Zoey and Isabelle leave (But I think they're still here, because there's a camera flashing from the bushes). "Hey, Garroth." I greet. Garroth jumps a bit before looking at me. "Cadenza." Garroth gets up and walks towards me. "You're beautiful." Garroth says as he caresses my cheek with his hand. A blush pours onto my face. "G-Garroth." I shudder. He doesn't say anything before colliding our lips. A couple camera flashes appear from the bushes, it added on with some giggles. Once Garroth and I pull back, we rest our foreheads on each other's. "You know they're snapping pictures, right?" I question. "Yea." Garroth replies in a soft voice. I giggle, then kiss him again. Sparks fly...
