Oneshot Name: Not A Monster

Garroth's POV

The man in cloth. He had a bandana over his head and a hood over his head. Chest bare and legs exposed by the ripped jeans he insisted on wearing. A jacket would cover his arms and back, but he refused to ever zip it together. I sigh dreamily, "Garroth, are you ok?" Laurance asks, coming over to me. I look out the window of the guard tower that Aphmau made for me about a year ago. "Yea... I just can't stop thinking about... Him." I reply. Laurance's body stiffens for a second as his eyes widen. He relaxes after a few more moments, "Who's this... 'Him'?" Laurance asks. "I don't know his name, but he's the man that we call 'Stranger'." I inform. Laurance shakes his head softly, "How do you like him when you don't even know his name?" Laurance asks. I shrug, not having an answer, "I don't know, really..." I reply. Laurance chuckles, "Whatever you say." Laurance then walks off. "I heard my name." A deep voice says from behind me. My face grows pale as my eyes widen greatly. "St-Stranger?" I stutter. I reluctantly turn around. He chuckles and comes closer, "Please, call me Aaron." Stranger-- I mean Aaron says. My jaw drops, "Your name's Aaron?" I ask. He nods with a small smile. "Can I see your face?" I ask. "Only if I can see yours." Aaron replies. I forgot that I have my helm on. I sigh, "Fine." I grip onto the bottom of the helm and start to pull it above my head. As I have the helm over my head, my hair bounces out of its flattened style and grows slightly curly at my bangs. I place the helm down on the table. Aaron's jaw drops, "Well.. I guess I have to fill my end of the bargain as well." Aaron glances at the door, "It's locked." I assure. I pull the curtains onto the window to help him keep his identity secret. The light dims a bit. Aaron pulls his hood down, the color of his hair matching the small bit of hair on his chin. Black. Aaron unties the bandana. His eyes are as dark as night and the exact color of his hair. He's actually... Really attractive. A lot more attractive than I thought he was going to be. "Am I the the first person you've shown your identity to?" I ask. Aaron nods, "Since Zane Ro'Meave destroyed my village, yes." Aaron informs. My jaw drops (again), "Z-Zane... He's alive?" I mumble out a question. "I don't know where he is right now, but all I know is that I want vengeance on what he did to Falcon Claw." Aaron seems to immediately regret mentioning Falcon Claw. "Fa-Falcon Claw?" I ask (A/N: When I typed in Garroth's stutter, for some reason my phone  autocorrected it to Dante. WHY? I don't know😂). "I was the Lord of it. The rumors of me going insane aren't true. Zane gave an amulet to my son, which I took from him. When I got it, everyone in the village died. I should've let him keep it..." Aaron explains. I knew Zane was cruel, but not this cruel. "I'm a Ro'Meave as well..." I look down, "And Zane is my younger brother." I finish. Aaron pulls my chin up with his hand, "Even know you're a Ro'Meave doesn't mean you're a monster." Aaron assures. I give him a small smile. Aaron's eyes widen. Not in a scared or nervous way, but in a dreamy and happy way. He seems astonished. Aaron and I slowly start to lean in. Spur of the moment type of thing. I don't mind. Soon, I feel a pair of lips meet mine. We stay like this for a bit before we pull back, "You're not a monster either." I say.
