OH YEA.
Before we continue, here's some maybe useful info.

•Pierce is a Shadow Being (he can turn himself and others into shadows effortlessly)
•They're both 24
•Axel is 6'4
•Pierce is 5'10
•If Pierce quits his job, the company he works for will kill him.
•Axel doesn't like Pierce's job one bit.
•Pierce is transparent under moonlight thanks to his species.

• If you want to know more, go to Topic 12 in my RP book (that's the realm this takes place in) •

PREVIOUSLY:
He knew Pierce couldn't purposely have himself killed. He knew that Pierce couldn't bring himself to do that. Hopefully he knew correctly.

But then he felt his stomach turn. Axel's body switched directions, his decision to stay changing. Without a second thought, Axel ran out the door.

****

"Pierce!" Axel found himself shouting desperately, his voice bouncing off the walls in a loud echo.

"Pierce!" The blonde repeated, bolting out of the crusty motel they had found temporary shelter in.

He saw a transparent figure in the distance, it walking swiftly. The only person Axel knew that was transparent only outside at night was Pierce.

It had to be him. It just had to be. Axel could feel it.

Axel's feet gained a mind of their own, him soon finding himself chasing after the figure.

He caught up, panting heavily, "Pierce," He started, another pant leaving his mouth, "You gotta sta--"

"What?" A female voice questioned, looking up at him, "Gah, wrong person!" Axel said, quickly bypassing her.

By this time, Axel was even more desperate than before. He needed to find Pierce and he needed to do it fast.

He didn't know where he was going. All he knew was that his feet were taking him somewhere and he had a one track mind.

   Pierce.

He soon had to slow down, his energy dying down. He had been running for around twenty minutes straight in an attempt to find the raven haired man.

"This is useless. . ." Axel muttered to himself as his posture straightened.

Though his attempts may be futile, he wasn't going to give up. He couldn't and he wouldn't.

So he continued, running along as quickly as he could.

Long minutes went by, there being no signs of Pierce.

Soon, the blonde came across a forest. Pierce was notorious for fighting in forests, him using the trees and his shadow-like abilities as an advantage there.

That seemed to be the only logical place Pierce would be (because it's not like you'd see him hanging around a tavern or anything), so he went in.

Sure, his heart was rushing much faster than normal and his hesitance gained with each step, but that wasn't important. Right?

And you do anything for the person you love right? Right.

   Damn you, love. . .

The blonde gulped, leaves crunching beneath his feet as he walked across the green grass.

Eventually, Axel spotted the person he'd been looking so hardly for.

   Pierce Hoffsmen.

"Pierce?" Axel questioned, causing the black haired male to look in his direction. He was transparent.

As they made eye contact, Pierce melted into the shadows and made an escape.
