a/n: Hey! I know you all have noticed that I've been making more OC oneshots than anything else. That is because I've simply lost interest in Aphmau and her videos. I don't know why or what happened, I've just lost interest. I do have a oneshot that I made for Jared coming out soon (I've yet to write it on PC. I'll do that later). It's Aarmau for all you Aarmau fans out there. With this sudden loss of interest, I'll be making things from different fandoms and original things. I know I'm known for Aphmau, but I don't want to write about something that I'm not too involved with anymore. You know what I mean? I don't hate the characters and I'll still roleplay them in PM's and my roleplay book and stuff like that, but my oneshots and books will be drifting away from the Aphmau fandom and will be going off to other things that I like as well. This note is going longer than I anticipated. adios

Jesse x Alyssa
How do i even start this gah (i made this before i started with the oneshot)Here they were again, driving around in Jesse's black Honda. They were on another one of their sporadic road trips again.
They weren't doing anything important. They were just driving around with the radio on and minimal conversation.
But tonight was different. This time, the radio wasn't as loud and song lyrics were only mumbled instead of belted. There was an odd tension in the car that neither could describe. It was random and seemed to come out of nowhere.
"Are you mad at me or something?" Jesse asked out of the blue as they approached a red stop light. He glanced over at her, his dark brown eyes not glimmering with the same excitement and glee that they normally did during these escapades.
Alyssa's head dropped. She hadn't looked at him for longer than ten seconds since she had entered the car. That was rare for her. Alyssa kept her gaze at her feet, not answering for a moment, "I'm not mad at you, Jesse. . ." She started, being interrupted by Jesse.
"Then why are you acting different?" He questioned, tearing his gaze away from her as the light blinked green. "I. . ." She sighed, "I honestly don't know, Jesse." She finished.
"There's obviously something I'm not doing right. What's up with you tonight?" Jesse stated. He knew Alyssa like the back of his hand and vice versa. They knew immediately when something was wrong with the other.
Alyssa's lips pursed. She moved her head up, only looking forward. She could see her best friend out of the corner of her eye, him not looking as focused on the road as he usually did when he drove. He seemed more distracted. It was almost weird for her to see.
Normally, his eyebrows would be furrowed slightly and his hair would be brushed completely out of his face. Now, his expression was more stressed and strained, a few strands of hair falling onto his forehead and swinging above his eyes.
"Nothing involving you." Alyssa said, breaking the silence that had fallen over them. She swallowed the rest of her sentence, shoving it down her throat. She couldn't say what she wanted to say. She just couldn't.
"Just because it doesn't involve me doesn't mean you can't tell me about it." The darker haired male reminded, licking his lips for a quick moment before placing his foot on the gas. The car started to move once again.
Alyssa remained silent until Jesse sighed, "I won't force the answer out of you. . ." He said, his voice having a mix of emotions brewing in it. She couldn't put her finger on what emotion (or emotions) was (/were) lying in his voice.
"Thank you. . ." She said quietly, her voice barely mounting to anything over a whisper. The male to her left nodded slightly, "Anytime. . ." He responded, his voice having the same characteristics as hers.
That same tension-filled, personality breaking silence from earlier poured into the car like water would from the clouds/
The radio's hum was now nonexistent. The only sound in the car was the engine's purr and the soft inhaling sound of their breathing. Neither knew what to say, neither knowing if there was anything to say.
Tension like this was extremely rare between the two friend's. Every once in awhile, they'd have an awkward moment, it being followed by a moment of silence, but nothing ever like this. The silence following awkward moments would only last about ten seconds. This one was lasting about ten minutes or longer.
Alyssa had something on the tip of her tongue. She had something that she wasn't to say oh so very badly, but it just wouldn't come out. Something deep down inside of her was screaming 'DON'T DO IT! DON'T SAY IT!'. For some reason, she fell into that voice in her head, keeping the words jumbled in her mouth to herself.
A couple more minutes of silence passed. If you were ever to ask, she'd say that she swore up and down that she was about to burst. She was about to spill a large-- HUGE secret that she only wanted Wren to know.
"Jesse. . ." Alyssa knew that it'd have to come out eventually. She couldn't keep it in any longer.
"I'm pregnant. . ." She paused briefly, "With Malachi's baby."
