I felt my back press against the wall, a shaky breath leaving my mouth. My eyes forced me to look away from the brunette before me.

"Laurance. . ." I started, "We can't do this." I said as I felt his hands creep up my chest, under my shirt. "Laurance!" I repeated, my voice raising.

It was as if my words were dust, nothing that I said seeming to have an affect on him. A low chuckle left Laurance's mouth.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion, his chuckles and words becoming a blur. It was like I had put myself in my own little universe, blocking everything and everyone else out.

Soon, consciousness got a strong grip on me. Reality sped up to normal, my mobility gaining.

"Stop!" I proclaimed as he started to pull the blue flannel fabric off of my shoulders. I pushed him back, the brunette staggering slightly.

"And now you fight back?" Laurance questioned, that being the first sentence of his that I could actually make out.

A scowl made its way onto my face. A whole host of emotions was bustling through my system, bursting at the seams.

He cocked an eyebrow, "Well? Not going to answer?" Though I didn't show it, on the inside I was completely terrified. My heart was racing and I could feel it beating rapidly in my ears.

Another breath left my mouth. My jacket was hanging off of my shoulder, it only holding on by a thread.

Laurance swooped back in, continuing what he was doing before. I pushed him back for a final time, stepping away from him, "Leave me alone." I commanded, breaking a friendship of eight years.

The brunette stared at me, bewildered. I stepped away from him, soon exiting the house, "Garroth!" I heard a voice call out. Luckily, it wasn't Laurance's voice.

I turned, being met with the ocean blue eyes of Dante, "What happened?" Dante questioned, jogging over to me.

"Nothing important." I said as we walked down the sidewalk, aimlessly wandering out of the suburbs.

"Something important," Dante started, "Tell me about it." A sigh passed through my lips. After that, I started explaining everything.
