Rachel's POV

"Well look who it is." I heard Niall say. I jumped out of fright.

"Care to explain, why you are sneaking back into the room when I told you to stay."

"You didn't tell me that." I whispered.

"What was that?" He asked me coming towards me.

"You told me to go to the room. You never told me to stay." I told him. He glared at me but walked back towards the bed.

"Get changed." Niall told me.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"All you need to know is wear something comfortable." He told me then walked out of the room. I groaned but listened and changed. Once I finished, I walked out of the room and tried to find Niall. He was texting on his phone outside of the room.

"Good, you're ready." He said then started to walk down the stairs. I followed closely behind him.

"Where are we going?" I asked him once again. He still didn't answer me instead he walked down another set of stairs leading to the basement.

"What is this?" I asked.

"This is our training room. Now I have a few rules. Don't enter those two doors, those are off limits."

"Okay. But why am I here?" I asked him.

"Ever handled a gun?" He asked me still ignoring my questions.

"No." I replied.

"Well you're going to learn." He told me then cocked his gun.

"Are those real bullets?" I asked him.

"Yes." He replied then shot at the target ahead of him. Once he had hit the bullseye five times he lowered his gun.

"See, easy." He told me then handed me the gun.

"Yeah well maybe for you but you haven't showed me how to use it." I reminded him. He came behind me and showed me the position my hands need to be in.

"Focus on the target and pull the trigger." He told me. I breathed in slowly then pulled the trigger and I hit the target.

"Easy." He smirked at me.

"Now once you are comfortable with that then we can move on to more challenging targets." He told me while grabbed something from the other side of the room. Without a second thought, I aimed the gun for the back of his head. He turned around and looked at me.

"I could kill you right now, you know?" I told him.

"Yeah but you wouldn't." He took a step closer to me. I stood my ground but my hands began to shake.

"How do you know?" I asked him.

"I know you. I know your true feelings." He told me.

"Ha, I don't have any feelings for you." I told him.

"Oh really then pull the trigger right now." He challenged me taking a step with each word. I glared at him while I had my finger on the trigger. He stopped in front of me and the gun was on his shoulder.

"Pull the trigger." Niall told me. I lowered the gun and let out a deep breath.

"You can't. Because you and I both know that deep down you have feelings for me." He said then grabbed the gun from my hands.

"We're done for today." I nodded then walked back up the stairs. I wasn't watching were I was going and ran into someone. I looked up and was met with a familiar face.

"Perrie?"

"Rachel." Perrie grabbed me and brought me into a hug.

"Oh thank goodness you're safe." She told me.

"Me? What about you? I haven't seen you since that night." I told her.

"I've been in Zayn's room." She shyly told me.

"What did he do to you?" I asked her.

"Oh nothing. I've been keeping an eye on Elizabeth for you."

"Did you know that he was the one who adopted her?"

"He WHAT?" She yelled the last part. I nodded.

"What? Why would he do that?" She asked me.

"I don't know." I told her.

"Rachel." I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Niall leaning on the door frame.

"Perrie give us a minute." He told her. Perrie quickly walked out of the room and up the stairs.

"You know you surprised me back there. I really thought I would have a bullet in me by now." I didn't say anything.

"You passed my test." He told me.

"What?" I asked him confused.

"I was testing you. To see how you really feel about me."

"Just because I didn't pull the trigger doesn't mean I have feelings for you."

"Or do you?"
