Chapter 40

*2 weeks later*

"Ughh " I sighed bending down to pick up my last suit case.

My stay here in new town hills to redeem myself is over and to be honest I feel like a better, smarter person. I promised my therapist I'd keep in contact with her because I know I'll be needing her advice again pretty soon.

I slammed my trunk closed after putting my things in it. I walked across the street to the small office to turn my house key back to the lady.

"I hope you enjoyed your time here, hope all is well have a good life." She said smiling as I handed the key to her.

"Thanks I will" I smiled warmly walking back out.

I got into my car and started it up heading down the long road . After a hour I pulled up slowly into the drive way of my condo. I stopped the car and got out making sure to lock it after grabbing my things.

I smiled walking inside my condo sitting my things down.

"Home sweet home" I mumbled going into my living room and plopping down on the couch.

As soon as I got comfy my phone started ringing. I picked it up seeing it was my mom

"Hello mom"

"Mi Priyaaaa!! awre u home me luv?"

"Yes mom I'm home now I'll try to stop by after I get situated."

"Ok luv" she said and then the phone hung up.

The entire time I was away my mom was worried like crazy , shit I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't start knocking at my door by now. My phone buzzed again interrupting my thoughts this time it was mama Sheila

"Hello?" I answered

"Why do I hear my favorite daughta is back in town dat just betta be true!" She yelled excitedly into the phone

I giggled. "Yes I'm home "

"Well bring ya ass on by I ain't taking no fa a ansa " she said hanging up before I could say anything else.

I got up off the couch stretching , I'm so tired. I grabbed my bags carrying them up the stairs and into my bedroom. After putting all my things away, I started up a nice hot shower.

I bit my lip as I stepped in and the hot water hit my skin automatically relaxing my muscles. When I got done washing up I got out wrapping my towel around my body and going into my bed room to get dressed.

"MY BABYYYYYYY!!!!" Mama Sheila squealed attacking me with kisses and hugs as I walked through her front door.

I just came from my mom house. I told her I was pregnant again and she cried tears of joy she's so over dramatic. 

"Move ! Stop hogging her up give somebody else a turn" Chandra said . Mama Sheila flipped her the bird and stepped to the side causing me to giggle . Since it's still early I thought it'd be nice to stop by.

"Hey bihhhhhh I missed ya la ass!!!!" She smiled hugging me tightly

"I missed you more ugly." I smiled pulling away.

"AUNTIEEEEEE!!!!" The girls squealed all hugging my legs.

"Hi my babies" I smiled kissing all of their cheeks.

"Y'all go on and play while we talk to ya auntie" mama Sheila told the girls. They all ran off excitedly to go play

"So how was it?" Cha asked

"It was a great experience I really needed that , my therapist was amazing she helped me stay sane a lot. I'd definitely go back there if I really needed to, it's so peaceful." I said

"Well I'm glad you're back" mama Sheila butted in. I smiled warmly

"How's August?" I asked looking down playing with my fingers

"Girl he's been so far up Brooke's ass he-" Chandra started to say but mama Sheila cut her off

"Chile leave my baby alone he just in love dats all"

"In love?" I questioned swallowing the big lump in my throat.

"He's been working , taking care of Brooke and the new edition on the way." Chandra said rolling her eyes

"New edition? As in baby?" I asked

They both nodded at the same time.

"Oh" I said chewing on my bottom lip

"It's okay to be upset Myla if I was you I'd be furious!" Chandra said

"Being angry doesn't always fix things! Now y'all gonna have to accept the fact that the past is the past and the present is the present. Not saying I don't understand the way you feel Myla but I mean come on na what did you expect him to do? Keep chasing you around until you finally stopped being a bitch and give in?" Mama Sheila said truthfully

"I know I know it's just..."

"It's just what?" Cha butted in and asked

"I'm pregnant! And I've been tryna make the best out of it since I found out but now I know for a fact me and her being pregnant by him at the same time isn't good at all. He can't do for 2 babies he's only 1 person." I worried

"ayeeee I'm bouta have a niece or a nephewwww!" Chandra squealed doing a twerk dance completely blanking out everything I said except for the part where I said I'm pregnant

"Oh hush chile I lost one grand baby and I ain't finna lose anotha one so get ya self together ya got my blood inside of you" mama Sheila said

"This is gonna be too hard to deal with " I mumbled

"Yea everything's gonna be alright Myla just pray. Remember you just came back from redeeming yourself you can't be stressing on your first day back you know we got ya back regardless!" She said

I nodded .."yea you're right, I'm gonna get goin"

"I'll call you tomorrow" mama Sheila said & I nodded getting up and making my way out the door.
