Before I knew it, I was being dragged off the couch.
"Abs, your mum said you have to go to bed now because you start school tomorrow." Jack whispered, scooping me off the couch.
"Wh-what?" I yawned, rubbing my eyes.
"Which room is yours?" Jack asked, trailing up the stairs with ease.
"The second on the right." I said, hiding in his chest sleepily.
"I'll be going now then. Bye Abbey." He smiled, lying me gently on the bed and tucking me in.
"Bye. Thank you for staying with me." I smiled back with drooping eyelids.
I stretched my arms out for a hug, and he leaned into my arms holding me tightly.
"Night Abs." He whispered, planting a small kiss on my forehead.
"Night Jack." I replied with a small blush. I watched him flick me lamp off and close the door quietly behind himself, and then I fell into a deep sleep.
