Chapter 10: Our memories that you forget

Kyungsoo is hanging around in his room. It is the holidays and he had no interest to study. He also had no interest to help out in the cafe downstairs as he felt super tired from helping out for the past few days. He might be young but there is a limit to his physical capabilities. It is not that he is weak but it is partially Xiumin's fault for taking advantage of the school holidays to slack and give most of the work to Kyungsoo. Stand corrected, it was all Xiumin's fault. Kyungsoo wants to escape from reality today. He want to have some fun. It is seems that he can only entrust one person that can keep him company. He grabbed his jacket and head downstairs. While doing so, he dialed a number. He called the person he wanted to meet the most, Sarang.

He smiled knowing that he had found the one. The one who understands him. The one who can help him. The one who can console him. Like how she did it when they were five.

Flashback.....

In a small town in Canada, there is this young boy who can't fit in. The two main reasons are due to his shyness towards people and it is because he is Asian. He is really shy so he doesn't really talk and that makes him arrogant looking to the other kids. He is also considered a rather beautiful child,which make all the adults to be captivated and the kids to envy him. The boy knows of this as he is also smart and mature for his age. So, he made a decision to never trust anyone but himself.

One day, at a daycare center, he was alone in a corner. He looked at the other students playing with their friends. Oh, how he wanted to join them but there is this fear in him. The fear of being used. He sighed and looked down in disappointment. Just then, he heard a female's voice. She spoke in a familiar language.

" Can I sit here?"

He is shocked that the girl talks in the language he knew. He said," You are Korean."

She nods her head and said," Yup. I can't speak English. Thank Goodness that I met you."

The boy was captivated by the smile that the girl gave him. He smile back and said," Come on sit down."

The girl smiled and introduced herself," Annyeonghasaeyo, Cheon Sa Rang imida."

The boy is thrilled to finally find a person that he can trust. "Annyeonghasaeyo, Do Kyungsoo imida."

And that is how a beautiful friendship started but it somehow became forgotten.

Kyungsoo opened his eyes as he had felt the young lady's presence. He is curious about the both of them. He clearly remembered the moments they had a long time ago. He knew that this the woman that stole his heart. How did he know? Her eyes and his heart would always beat faster whenever he is near him. That's how he can identify the twins easily. Her presence is enough for him for to know. He has fallen for her hard. Really hard. The main reason for him to suddenly keep in contact with him is due to the recent killings. He know that she will be the target and he also know that he is the last one on the killer's list. The only way for him to watch over her is to bring out to this kind of dates. He think of it as a date but he don't know if this is considered as a date to her. He loves her but what about her? Does she love him back?

Does kind of questions always wander around his mind. He still can't believe that she forget him. He waited for the moment for her to realise that he is her first love. The one who shared their first kiss back then. But, so far, it seems like it never happened.

He merely smiled at her and offered," Shall we go to the movies today?"

The lady accepted the offer and they head to the nearest cinema which is just down the street. Kyungsoo couldn't hold back. Today is the day that he is going to be bold and took the step forward.
