Chapter 3: That new Student...

"Annyeonghaesaeyo, Byun BaekHyun imida."

All of the students eyed the new student weirdly. Baekhyun did nothing but smiled nervously. Mr Hwang then showed Baekhyun to his seat. He sat down at his seat quietly.

Just then, another student came running in. He is really tall, with dark brown hair. He fixed his tie and apologized to the the Mr Hwang for being late.

"I'm sorry for being late." Mr Hwang just casually said," I am not suprised. You're always late. Go to your seat." He made his way and sat down beside Baekhyun.

So this is my deskmate. Baekhyun thought. The guy didn't realised that he had a new deskmate till Baekhyun fake coughed to get his attention. The guy was a bit shocked and he turned and faced Baekhyun. The guy smiled and said," You must be the transfer student."

Baekhyun grinned and said," Call me Baekhyun." Baekhyun then hand out his hand in anticipating a handshake. His deskmate smiled and introduced himself," Park Chanyeol imida."

Chanyeol gave Baekhyun a handshake. Chanyeol can't seemed to hold back in asking this question," Nice hair colour." Chanyeol then cover his mouth naturally to hold up his laughter. Baekhyun then mentally facepalmed and thought No wonder everyone looked at me weirdly. It's my purple hair.

Baekhyun then gave out a fake smile and said as politely as be can," Thank you. People seem to judge me for my purple hair." Chanyeol then continued, " Nah.... Don't worry. I have a friend who had white blondish hair. So you're not alone." Baekhyun can't help it but to hold himself from smacking the guy. He keep reminding himself Undercover... It is for the students.. Just find the killer and I'm outta here.

Chanyeol is really happy that he had a deskmate. Finally he can talk in class without distrubing Kyungsoo, who is behind him.

School just ended. Baekhyun is walking in the hallways, trying to find anyone who knew the victims. He was about to approach a group of students when Chanyeol shouted for his name." Baekhyun ssi!"

Baekhyun simply turned around and saw Chanyeol came running to him. Chanyeol catch his breath and said," Hey, Wanna go somewhere? My treat." Baekhyun was about to reject the offer but he can use this opportunity to ask some questions.

Baekhyun then broke out a smile and said," Sure, cause you're treating me." With that, Baekhyun and Chanyeol head off.

Kyungsoo just arrived at the cafe. He saw Xiumin smiled at him and served Kyungsoo a glass of apple juice. Kyungsoo stared at the glass of apple juice before shifting his gaze at Xiumin. He anticipate Xiumin to say something and he did.

" You always drink coffee day and night. I think it is good to drink something healthy instead." Kyungsoo glared at Xiumin as he forced himself to drink the apple juice. Kyungsoo finished the drink in one shot. The door opened. Chanyeol cheerfully greet Kyungsoo and Xiumin," Hey guys. Hyung, Two Americano."

Xiumin gave Chanyeol an 'ok' sign and made the order. Soon, Baekhyun came in awkwardly. Baekhyun knew this place. He feared that Xiumin might blow his cover. Xiumin knew that Baekhyun is not a highschooler but he doesn't know what Baekhyun's occupation is.

Xiumin served the coffee on the table. He then saw Baekhyun and his eyes are widen. Chanyeol then said," Hyung, this is our new classmate, Byun Baekhyun." Xiumin is really shocked but he chose to compose himself. Kyungsoo then excused himself and went upstairs. Chanyeol and Baekhyun sat down and drink their coffee. Baekhyun tried to drink the coffee while avoiding constant glares from Xiumin. Chanyeol then start to jump up and down.
